Finally, after two years of being engaged, Mr. Kitten and I had engagement pictures taken! I don’t even know if you can call them “engagement” pictures after two years, but better late than never! We had a hard time deciding whether we wanted an earthy, natural setting for our session, or the colorful, eclectic backdrop of downtown Austin. Our fabulous photographer, Jennifer Nichols, made the decision easy on us—we could have both! Mr. Kitten and I spent a lovely afternoon with Jennifer first in downtown Austin, and later at a beautiful spot in the hill country.

you two are adorable! we did the same thing–a forest preserve/lake setting and an urban alley. tons of fun!
They are beautiful. Can’t wait for ours. We are doing DC pictures in March, and San Diego pictures in August. Haven’t decided where exactly, but I would definitely like a mix of urban and beach/nature settings

Cute! Those are great images! We didn’t get engagement photos…just the impromptu photos by a photog who happened to be around at the proposal…in an urban setting: a museum!

FH and I are planning on both, we’re going to take our pictures in Laguna Beach and Corona Del Mar, so we can have beachy pictures (for my mom) and city like pictures for us

A friend of mine is a photographer. Not only is she designing our invites, and FLYING from PA to Vegas to help me design them, she’s also going to take Epics of us in the Neon Boneyard - a cool old place where Las Vegas hotel signs go to die. So fun!

Great pictures! Ours was outdoors in Colorado where we are getting married. I understand what you mean about the two years later part. We were engaged for over two years before really starting to plan and getting pictures taken.
