Mrs. Milkshake, Seattle/Vancouver, BC Age and Occupation: 23, Pharmacist Fiance's Age and Occupation: 25, Pharmacist Engagement Date: May 2007 Wedding Date: August 2008 Blogging Since: December 6, 2007 Venue: Victorian Mansion About Me: Despite the fact that I’ve invested many long years of my life studying the sciences in college, I’m glad to be out of there and I would never do it again! I’m super artsy at heart - I run an indie craft site, I grew up shooting and developing my own film, doing jazz and ballet, and the whole gamut of art classes. I’ve been called a Jane of all Trades… but I was also told many years ago not to make my passion my career because it’d suck the fun out of it. Hence my choice of day job. We live in Seattle but are having our wedding in Canada to be fair to all our family and friends.

Bachelorette Partay

The bride-to-be (pictured below, not above) gets hitched this coming weekend. Who knew the suburbs would have such a thriving nightlife? I thought the only place you could club-crawl was downtown, but I was wrong! A few of the girls drew up a list of to-dos for the evening, which included kissing a bald man’s head, asking the oldest man in the room to dance, asking a guy for a condom… etc.

I hid safely behind my camera for most of the evening and walked away with some pretty tasteful photos. I’m the gal who had the upper hand at her bachelorette and made all her gals dress up in ridiculous dresses to go blacklight mini-golfing and play old-school games like Skee-Ball, so I wouldn’t know the first thing about raunchy parties.

The first club we went to featured a heavy metal band that drew a considerably older crowd, and I mean older, because the bride and half her friends are past their mid-thirties. This guy saw our group of girls leaving and was concerned about the coat he had left under our watch. This picture was taken right after he planted a kiss on poor bride’s cheek without even knowing about “the list”. I’m sure she could have lived without satisfying that item on the list.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done or seen done at a bachelorette?
