About Mrs. Champagne

… our Christmas tree is still up.

Sure it’s a little saggy now, the lights are falling off, but it’s still up. I’ve been so busy that taking it down has been on the backburner on my list of to-dos (I think I might secretly like it up, too). This might be a delegation task for Champ this week.

I never thought we would get this busy with wedding stuff!!!

What’s on the end of your to-do list that you keep putting off?!

I’m getting married this month too, and I didn’t bother putting one up this year, or I’d be in the same boat!

I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one who put it off taking mine down! Ours finally came down (literally!) on Sunday when my 11lb puppy knocked it over when she ran past it! Opps.. I’m totally with you- my wedding is still 4 months away but it seems that every weekend is full of wedding tasks.

Aww, that’s so cute! I’ve always heard from the older members of my family that having your tree up on the first is bad luck. Maybe it’s back to good luck if you keep it up until February first! :)

Good luck with all the planning craziness. Delegate, delegate! Can’t wait to see your winter wedding!

I still have my nutcracker collection on display! And my wedding isn’t until August! But, Mr. MagPie and I are moving soon, and I just started a part-time teaching gig…so free time is non-existent. :-(

The FI took the tree down the DAY after Christmas. However, my handmade paper snowflakes are still in the front window. Technically, those are “winter” decorations, not Christmas, right? So it’s OK?!

My tree is still up and I don’t think I will get around to taking it down until next weekend….I figure it’s a long holiday weekend so the extraday should help, we’ll see. I also have my thank you’s printed and ready to address….thewedding was 08/16/08!!!! Looks like I have a busy holiday weekend planned! (I kind of like the tree up…it’s so pretty and I put a lot of work into it, so I know what you mean!)

The end of my to-do list is my school work…well at least procrastinating until the last minute while I do more enjoyable wedding stuff.

end of my to-do list is find a caterer. I’ve been putting it off since november when it first appeared on the list.

I dont know why im dreading it so much, but I can’t seem to do anything productive. I’ve printed off hte menus of a dozen places and browsed through them, but I keep saying “ill call tomorrow”

i HAVE to get on this.

Our Christmas tree is still up too! Luckily we have a fake one, or else we would have needles everywhere! Storage space is very limited in our apartment right now due to wedding stuff taking up space, so I suggested that we just keep the tree up year round and decorate for whatever holiday or season it is! If I decorate it for Valentine’s Day I’ll let you know! :)

we didn’t do a tree this year, mostly cuz we were just too busy. but I know at least 3 people who still have theirs up too so you are definetly not the only one!

Ahh Miss Champagne! No worries! We still have our stockings hung. They are cute! And our christmas storage bins are so high… I don’t feel like getting the ladder out to take the bins down to put it all away. So… we put the dog’s valentines day gift in her Christmas stocking. Hehehe.

Champs you crack me up. Somewhere in our family albums we have a picture of my brother opening his birthday gifts with the Xmas tree in the background… on February 10th! Hope that makes you feel better :)

Um, my best friend’s parents once had their tree up until almost Easter. You’ve got some time! :)

My wedding is February 14th and my tree and all of my christmas decorations are still up, too. Looks like it might stay up until early March, since that is when we get back from the honeymoon. At this point, my tree is the least of my worries…thankfully it is artificial!
