Okay. Our hair is done, our faces are on, the flowers are as good as they’re gonna get and the champagne is flowing. I guess it’s time to put on the dress–er, DWess!

Oh but wait a second. There was one MORE little detail I hadn’t done yet since I ran out of time, and which I almost forgot…

… my dress label!

I ordered it online from Garter Maker (which was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had, by the way). Boy, did Mr Breezy ever make fun of me for this one. No matter what I told him, he still thought that spending $15 on a custom made dress label was alternately hilarious and ridiculous. I said, “But I want to personalize my dress! And it’ll become a keepsake that our daughter will sew into her dress on her wedding day!!” Totally plausible, right?

Oh well. I thought it was a darling idea. Plus, it was my “something blue”!

Getting into my dress was pretty easy. One leg in, two legs in, and up she goes.

Um, what’s so funny girls? I know my boobies are small an’ all, but is it really that funny?

Ohhhhh. You’re laughing at something on my back. *craning her neck to see*

Hey wait a cotton-pickin’ minute. What’s THAT?

Whoops! Looks like I forgot to scrub off that temporary tattoo of our wedding monogram. Hee hee hee! I think Photophil got a good laugh outta this one too. (Or maybe it was because of the purple undies?)

Now, where are those purpliest of purple shoes o’ mine?

Ok Maid of Honor Pepperpot… Show us whatcha ya got.

Atta girl. Nice work!

And now for the garter (a plain one I got for free at a bridal show and off which I ripped the blue ribbon and hot-glued a purple one instead… oh snap!).

Okay Sea Breeze, get a grip on yourself. Let’s do one semi-serious one for posterity’s sake.

There you go. Good girl.

Now if I could just get that birdcage veil I made to sit just so…
