Aww, this is such a SWEET contest! I have two dogs, who shed like crazy - pug and a chug (chihuahua and pug mix). They are the loves of my life, besides my husband!!

We have two blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and I think it is safe to say that the lint roller is my best friend. We have one in each bathroom, one in each of our cars, and I always keep one in my purse. Our friends would be thrilled if we ended up with a furminator, so that their clothes can be spared when they visit!

I have a cat named CC (stands for Cow Cat because she’s spotted just like a little dairy cow!) who is super duper hairy! Fighting the cat hair is a never-ending battle in our house…we need this!

I have a indoor cat that sheds like crazy (you’d think she would be bald), and we also have a indoor/outdoor Golden Retriever, with such long hair that it sometimes clogs up the vacuum!
oh mah jeez, we have 2 short haired cats that shed a TON that I’m allergic to (so smart of me).
I have a Australian shepherd mix who has a double coat that is WHITE and his hair is on EVERYTHING!! When I got him he weigh 3 pounds and was practically bald, now he weighs 50 and has crazy hair!

We got them before we even lived together, and searched for a black kitty and white kitty so we could name them “Ying and Yang” but then fell in love with the names these two brothers already had They shed like crazy and with one black one and one white one there is nothing safe from showing cat hair everywhere! We have two dogs- Sprocket and Wimbley- we kinda kept the fragile rock theme going.. Sprocket is a 16 year old English springer spaniel and Wimbley is a 2 year old Scottish terrier- they are the best of friends.. but they shed SO much- i have to empty out the vacuum every time i use it.. my fiancee has terrible allergies so aside from the dog hair, the dust that the dogs bring in is terrible… this would be a life saver!
I brought two toy poodles into the relationship, and my husband brought a dalmatian and an akita. Most recently a stray kitten had joined our family as well. Yeah, that’s a lot of fur!
As you can tell from my login name, I have a cat! She is definitely shedding a lot right now. I think maybe I would pass on the gift to my mother, though, who has two Shelties… their hair gets everywhere!
I have two relatively short hair dogs, which we thought would mean there was very little shedding. WRONG… our vizsla has about 1/4 inch hair but he seems to constantly shed, and the little hairs are too small to easily remove, and they get everywhere. I would love this furminator, and my fiance’s allergies would be better off too.
This is an awesome giveaway! We have two miniature pinschers, and though their hair may be short, they shed like CRAZY!! I bet my husband would like to try this on me too, I lose hair worse than the dogs, I think:)

Last year my fiancee and I adopted our first pet together, he’s a mix of golden retriever, lab and pit and he’s the sweetest guy you’ll ever meet! He makes life so much happier despite the fact I now have to vacuum daily thanks to his shedding.

I have the most special shelter cat. He alternately thinks he is a dog and a human, with a splash of lemur thrown in (he sits upright, on his rear, paws resting on tummy).
I have the 2 most adorable short-haired cats. One is dark grey and one is light tan so no matter what you’re wearing one of their colors will show! My future mother-in-law has a furminator and she loves it. She also has 17 cats!

I have a big (as in 95 lbs and half-grown) growin’ 6-month-old blue & white Great Dane named Trajan. He may not have the longest coat, but he sheds year-round, giving a nice blue-grey tint to our beige carpet. Calypso the li’l a siamese/tabby mix kitty adds her own fur to the mix.

Hmm, I’m glad to hear you like the furminator — I just heard of it recently and wasn’t sure if it would work. We have two kitties, a mackeral tabby girl named Moxie and a black guy named Mojo. Both have this weird, not-short-but-not-truly-long hair that gets EVERYWHERE!
Oh do we NEED this. After we got my Abby girl , my FH demoted me from being the “thing that sheds most in the house”. Abby is a catahoula leopard hound mix. She is my baby girl , but her fur is EVERYWHERE!!!

Pick me, pick me! I have a Siberian Husky(well known for their DOUBLE fur coat) that is currently shedding in big fur chunks(literally) all over my livingroom. THis would be GREAT to have….I’ve been tempted to pick this up before to help deal with Thor’s fur, but didn’t really know the real difference between this and a undercoat brush.
My boyfriend, like many above, is allergic to our tuxedo cat! But it’s fair since I’m allergic to his lab, but we also have a baachshund that leaves hair all over!

OMG I have never heard of these but now I have to have one. My Arwen is a pitbull mix and sheds like you wouldn’t believe. Her hair is everywhere in our house. We are also moving in with soon with my FILs and they have a lab, a collie mix and a cat. We’ll have to buy stock in lint rollers.

We have a dalmationa mix, which means, that I can rarey get away with wearing black, or any other dark color. We have many many lint brushes, but they still don’t do the job. I have a Border Collie named Mollie. She is black and white with a beautiful coat. I could spend an hour every day brushing her and I think she would STILL shed! I would LOVE this product and I think my fiance would too, as he is nervous about living with a dog that sheds! Whoever gets this should demonstrate with a video and somehow post it on Weddingbee. I would love to see if it works as well as it did on Martha!!

I was laughing when I read this post for two reasons (1) it definitely was not what I was expecting when I sat down to catch up on my Weddingbee and (2) I was talking earlier today about how badly I want one of these!
I have a two-year-old chow/shepherd named Kira who sheds like it’s nobody’s business. Just a few hours ago I was being teased because anyone who walks inside my home walks away with the souvenir of Kira hair at least on their clothes if not also in their cars, purses, shoes, etc. It’s quite bad.
We have the ultimate shedding machine - a pomeranian/american eskimo mix. His hair even ended up coming on our honeymoon with us! It sticks to my husband’s head and his face when he doesn’t shave often enough! We also have a chihuahua and 2 cats that add some of their own hair to the mix!
I have two chinchillas that shed as a defense mechanism (like rabbits only worse). Everything they touch gets covered in tiny soft fur and it would be great to comb them to prevent the fuzz effect.

My FI and I have two wonderful black cats (furry children) - it wasn’t until just a few years ago when I heard how black cats are the most likely not to be adopted because of superstition. Our friends and family think we’re probably crazy but they really are the highlight of the day when they run down the hall to greet us when we come home from work. My mother even jokes and refers to them as her “grandcats!” As soon as we sign on the dotted line for a house we’re adding dogs to our family!

We aren’t 100% sure as to what kind of dog we have- my FH adopted her from the animal shelter. She’s a pointer mix of some sort. She is an absolutely amazing dog but I have a toddler and the shedding is getting old! Today, for example, we had to throw away a brand new playdough because my son dropped it on the ground and we couldn’t get pet hair out. This dog sheds NON-STOP and we’ve actually gotten in a few petty arguments about it. (Pathetic but it’s exhausting!) We would be so thankful for the ferminator… save my sanity and our vacuum/lent roller attempts!

Besides my fiance, the love of my life is Jake. He is a 3 yr. old, loveable, gorgeous, playful and amazingly smart Wheaten Terrier we rescued from the Humane Society a little over a year ago. We had a lot to get used to, especially his very particular grooming needs so this package would be fantastic!

I love my two dogs, Rocky & Roxy. They’re both German Shepard/ Huskie mixes. Jose and I have had them since they were 8 weeks old and now 6 years later, living in our own home and with a new baby I’m finding they’re relentless dog hair to be an annoyance. We love our dogs to death. They were my first babies (they still are), but now with a new born and living in our own home it feels like their fur is engulfing us.
My dog died, but I would love to give this to my aunt. She has a smelly, hairy pug and my sister’s old dog a chihuahua mix. She so deserves this for taking in the dog my sister disowned!

We have Duke the adoption dog we think he may be a Australian collie/chow/rottie mix and we have Bella the St. Bernard. Duke is our long haired 75 pounder and Bella is a shorter haired 120 pounder with all the classic St. Bernard features. I am in vet school and I LOVE using these in clinics!!! It would be too sweet to actually have one of my own!
OMG! I JUST finished brushing my dog right before reading this! My fiance and I have a year old lhasa poo mix named Molly and she totally needs this. They are supposedly non-shedding, but all my clothes lately evidence the contrary!

It’s clear, there is no substitute for the Furminator. We’ve tried to find one, even bought another “furminator like” type product that we thought we could save a few dollars on, but the few dollars saved are not worth the extra effort that goes along with it.
We would LOVE to win a Furminator. We have two dogs, a mut that loves to be groomed and a Shiba Inu, that is in full bloom right now. We borrowed a Furminator from a friend to use on our Shiba, there is truly no other grooming product that eliminates an undercoat quicker.

I have a monster-sized black lab, and I don’t know how she’s not bald with as much as she sheds! I have to sweep every day (okay, I SHOULD sweep every day) and even then there’s always little tumble weeds of dog hair rolling around. We use a shedding blade on her, which helps, but I’d love to try out the FURminator!

I have a dog who is a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix. he is such a ball of fur, that his name is actually Fuzzy!! He has tons of hair and is even shedding more due to a skin condition he has. He was a rescue from a shelter, and because of malnutriiton and stress, he loses hair and can’t maintain a good balance on his skin. So, it is recommended that he is bathed each week to help the condition. He’s a doll though

I have a White Sharpei Lab Mix and a Brown Terrier Mutt from the pound. I love them both but I have become accustomed to just having fur as part of my outfit every day.
We have a mixed breed rescue… a lab, pit bull, maybe shepherd, mix. Whatever she is, she is an unbelievable shedder! Oh, and incredibly adorable, so it is all ok:)

We could really use one on our Chocolate Lab and 2 Basset Hounds. They make small animals from the hair they leave behind!
I have a rescued American Bulldog/Pit Bull mix who is the sweetest 80 pound lap dog ever! Of course all that cuddling means all of my clothes are super furry…
I have the most adorable 15 month old lab mix - or at least that is what they said at the humane shelter! He howls like a beagle, runs like a grey hound, and has spots on his tongue like a chow! I guess being short like a beagle and thin like a grey hound is what kept him at 30 lbs! He sheds like crazy though! We just moved and I couldn’t believe how much hair their was once we moved out the furniture from our old place! We had to empty the hair out of the vacuum every at least 6 or 7 times for each room in the place before we were able to get it all!

We have two Boxers and a cat. The Boxers don’t have much need for a FURminator, but I swear by it for grooming the cat. If I won this I would donate it to my local humane society where I volunteer. They are funded almost entirely by private donations and I know this prize would be of great use to them.

We definitely would need this! We have a spazzy westie that loves to run around and hop on our furniture. You can totally tell when you see bunch of white hair all over our black futon

I have a lab. I’ve wanted one of these ever since seeing the demo video at Petco, but since my dog runs at the mere sight of me with a regular brush — I’d buy one but spending that much on something he won’t let me use on him…can’t justify my buying it. Please pick me! Whenever I vaccuum, I can’t help but feel like there’s another puppy trapped in there. Yes, he sheds that much. I love my yellow shedding lab. He’s still my big baby dog.

i have a shiba inu-corgi mix named carl. he’s the most precious little rescue dog and the love of my life. he’s well-trained and well-behaved. my only complaint is that the poor thing sheds like a maniac. my carpet is constantly covered in a tan and white carpet. my carpet has a carpet i can’t hardly keep up with the work. this would be an awesome gift to win!

My poor fiance! He is *not* one of those hairy men and he moves in with not just one (the mutt dog), not just two (the orange cat) but three (yes, me!) hairy creatures that he has promised to love and cherish for the rest of his life. You can brush the dog for hours and the hair will still fall out. And the cat, don’t even get me started! at least i have been trained to remove the clump of hair from the shower when i’m finished
I have a german shepard mix named Dakota and I swear, everytime she wags her tail, she sheds everywhere. I’m surprised she doesn’t become bald whenever she sneezes!
I have a Yorkie named Pargo and a Chihuahua named Pesto. Pesto sheds two times a year so this would come in handy!

We don’t have any pets at the moment :-(! We’re waiting until after the honeymoon to get a puppy- we’re still undecided on breed, but I’m in love with Kerry Blue Terriers and Bernese Mountain Dog. I cannot wait, it’ll be a very special (and tad belated) wedding gift to ourselves.
