While at my parents’ house last week I discovered that one of our family friends had dropped off a wedding gift for Mr. Kitten and me! I REALLY wanted to tear it open the moment I discovered it, but since the gifts are for us as a couple, I restrained myself. I had to wait over a week to see Mr. Kitten and open the gift, but today we finally got to unwrap it!

Back SideIt’s a set of personalized mugs with our initials and wedding date! It’s not from our registry and we love it! What a thoughtful gift! The company that makes them is called Rust Designs, and they make personalized dinnerware and other items. I am totally going to copy this idea and give these as a gift at the next wedding I go to.

That is such a cute gift!! I think it’s so thoughtful that they would include your initials and wedding date on the mugs. I will definitely have to steal this idea for future gifts to newlywed couples. It’s so much more personal than a gift off of the registry, and I’m sure it will be put to good use.
Those mugs are so cute! My favorite non-registry gift so far was an engagement gift from a couple we are good friends with that are unable to attend our wedding. They gave us a gorgeous cake knife and server to use at the wedding so that a “little piece” of them will be with us in a way! I was so touched!

I got those for my parents’ anniversary (they happen to share the same initials as you two!) love it.

I meant “4″ is a lucky number! haha! Held shift too long! But dollar signs are lucky too! heehee!
I registered for one of these plates, and I think I might have to buy it for myself soon because it doesn’t look like anyone else is getting it for me
