Growing up, my mom always called me a “camera ham”. I loved being in front of the camera, and still do.
Hamming it up in the mid-’80s
As you can imagine, our wedding day will be no different. To ensure that all of our camera hamming moments are captured, we recently hired a second shooter. In addition to a second shooter, Mr. Spring Roll’s uncle (our primary photographer) has asked us to compile a list of must have photos.
Included in our list are:
A neat shot showing our aisle runner. Inspired by the beautiful Mrs. Cookie.
A sickeningly cute shot of Mr. Spring Roll and me.
Mr. Spring Roll’s first look as I walk down (or is it up?) the aisle, like Mr. Pinot Noir’s first look at the stunning Mrs. Pinot Noir.
A photo of us and our little girls on the big day.
And of course, a special shot with my sister, much like the gorgeous Avocado sisters.

I wanted to have a picture of my FI with my two older brothers…they’re my “enforcers” so it’d be cute to have a photo of them interacting!! I too want a photo op with my pup the day of! I also want detail shots of my shoes, ring, dress etc. Love your inspiration!!

Funny that you post this right now because I am just getting ready to start my Photo List for my photographer. One of my must haves is a wide frame pic of my husband and me under a kick ass oak tree at the base of the foothills in my hometown.
One of our Must haves are lovey pictures of our very happily married grandparents. My grandparents are my total inspiration in life. They have the relationship I pray the Mr. & I have or will have.
Another must have are pictures of my niece and flower girl being adorable. I love kid shots… I am almost as obsessed with kids as I am with wedding planning.
Your baby pic is adorable! And this is a great list…I also have a must for a photo of me and my mom and my FMIL! And a must have photo of me and my future stepdaughters who are my bridesmaid.
A friend just brought this up to me and it’s now definitely on my must-have list. She said that because she only had family as her bridal party (same with me) she didn’t end up with a ton of pictures of her friends. I have many different groups of friends that have never met so one of my must haves is me with a big group of my girlfriends. That would be really special to me.
Great list, SR! We’re having a small thing with about 80 guests…so I’d like a group photo on the lawn at the cocktail hour.

When both T and my son see me. Like Miss Perfume, I’m having an intimate wedding (probably 60 or less guests) and a group shot would be perfect. Also me dancing with T and then me dancing with my son.
Since my grandparents are having their 70th wedding anniversary and I’m having a surprise vow renewal and cake just for them at the wedding, (my plan and they will no nothing of this except for my T,sis and bro in law), pics of them cutting their cake and saying their vows. And alot of pics of us with the grandparents period.
Before the wedding I was anti must have shot lists, but now I kind of regret not doing it!
Oh man, I have a lot of them that I want — I really hope to have some time to sit down with my photog before the wedding and talk about what I’d like her to capture, and when.
A sickeningly cute shot - WHAT A GREAT WAY TO DESCRIBE THAT!
I want a shot of my brother as he sees me coming down the aisle. He’s a big tough college football couch and I have only seen him cry a handful of times, but I have a feeling he will tear up when he sees me.
I really want a wide shot of me and my FI in front of the church cause it has this little curved path and TALL stained glass windows up front. Then I also want a picture with us on this cute little bench that is in front of the church. That’s just part of my must haves right now.
I want a really good shot of the aisle runner too!! I had ours made and I just love it so much.

A shot list is such a great idea. We didn’t do a shot list, and even though our photographers where fabulous, I really wish we would have created one.
We gave a shot list to our photographer too but it was Mr. PN’s sister that caught that shot from the first row!
One of me with just my brothers and lots with my grandfather. I really need to give some more thought to my list, though.
