Leaving for San Diego as soon as my Fiance gets his butt in the shower (he laughs and gets up)…lol. His gift was Styx concert tickets at the House of Blues tonight. I got a blue box (oh how I love Tiffany’s) necklace!

How did you spend it?

We went to my grandma’s and had a “Valentine’s lunch” with my grandma, mom, and godmother. For dinner, we alternate cooking for each other, so this was my year. So after lunch, we came home and ate a jambalaya (I’ve been trying to perfect a recipe to taste like the one at the Elephant Bar) because it’s what we ate on our very first day. For dessert, I got a couple slices of cake from the bakery that did our wedding cake, so we had all the same flavors from the wedding! Oh, and during dinner we listened to a CD I made full of songs that have special meanings to us. Then, we just enjoyed the rest of the night in front of our fireplace.

Hello cousin! Was that picture taken at my wedding? You both look adorable! I found you on wedding bee and have been reading all of you great info. I even told a co-worker of mine that Powder Puff was my cousin. She was excited because she has been reading your posts without knowing that I know you.
