I know menus aren’t the most exciting aspect of planning a wedding, but we really wanted our guests to see some of the menu items we had chosen because they were sort of themed around our location. So where’s a gal to turn for DIY menus? To my trusty Gocco, of course. Our monogram is literally going to be EVERYWHERE at our ceremony, reception, and even on our OOT bags. Our menu is no exception! I put our menu on Stardream opal text paper and taped it to Stardream Onyx cardstock. We’ll place them inside the napkins on the tables.

I actually did these in two steps, and just separated the menu top and bottom. Toward the end, the ink was definitely travelling to the adjacent text. I’ve found that if you have a small amount of space between text you want to be different colors, you can double up on the ink blocking material. I cut one thin strip and then put another on top of that to prevent the ink from going over the foam.
I get hungry just reading the menu—I can’t wait to actually eat what we’ve chosen!
Even though I didn’t plan on this being a lengthy project, it turned out to take a bajillion steps. I’ve been to weddings where there weren’t menus, and I barely noticed!
