I Heart Martha (Always Have)

February 20th, 2009 @ 4:17 pm by Mrs. Apple Cider

I have a confession to make: I own every single Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine. Not only do I own them, but I move them every single time I move to a new apartment. When I got the Winter 2009 edition, I found a few great projects.

We are still deciding on what the guys will wear, but how adorable is this suit with a bow boutonniere? The Winter magazine shows a few cool bow-inspired boutonnieres.

(from Martha Stewart: To make this boutonniere, wrap ribbon around three fingers 7 times. Holding lightly at center, fan out loops into a circle. Pin to secure, and apply fabric glue between layers. Let dry, and remove pin.)

This could be really sweet for a mother of the bride or mother of the groom.

This screams grandma to me! BUT, in a good way. ;)

Find all of the how-tos here: Martha Stewart Weddings website

Are you considering non-floral boutonnieres? What will they look like?

Those could be so pretty for so many things in a wedding! Ring pillow, card box, etc. Or even a shower!
