Mrs. Penguin visited New York for the first time in her life this past weekend, so of course we had to have a Bee Party!

The following images are by Mrs. Bell Pepper. She took them using a Canon Rebel xti, and the Canon Speedlite 430EX Flash. I’d been in the market for a flash, and after seeing her pictures, she’s definitely convinced me to get one!

I feel horrible for not having invited any readers, but my apartment was at maximum capacity with 30 peeps. I promise next time we’ll plan something super duper duper fabulous because I love playing hostess.

The bees are HOT! And I am so bummed I wasn’t able to be there.

I’m in LA all the time, so we can definitely do an LA meetup, and I’m headed to the Bay Area in late summer so we can do one there too. You guys can always organize your own meetups too!

I have the xTi, and received the 580EX II flash for my birthday in January- it’s AMAZING what a difference a good flash makes! You need to run out and get one ASAP!

thanks for hosting bee! it was great to see some familiar and new faces. i just wish we could have stayed longer as there were still people i didn’t get to talk with enough! can’t wait for some warmer weather and another chance to meet up.
