DIY’s I Wish I Had Done

February 24th, 2009 @ 3:21 pm by Mrs. Spring Roll

While I love all of the DIYs I’ve completed for our wedding, there are a several DIYs that I wish I would have made time for:

Beautiful paper flower centerpiece via Jen Elisebeth

Ribbon escort card holder via Martha Stewart

Fabric bouquets and boutonnieres via Once Wed

Floss(!!) and paper garland via craftstylish

And last, but not least, paper ornaments via craftstylish (I could have saved so much money on paper lanterns, if I would have taken the time to make these).

What DIY do you wish you would have done?

I love the floss and paper garland. When I first saw it, I thought it was super complicated — until I saw what it was made out of!

I’m loving that you’re sharing your left overs with the rest of us who still have some time to potentially incorporate them! I have really jumped on the paper craft decor banwagon with our wedding decor, and I just may have to snag that paper garland idea to jazz up an empty wall at the reception. I’m sure you have some very good DIY karma now, Miss Spring Roll!

Thank you so much for this post…..I am in love with those paper flowers and I am floored at how easy they are to make. I just made one here at my desk to see how do-able it is. AMAZING! I am SO excited. THANK YOU!

You are fantastic! Thanks for posting these DIY projects! I absolutely LOVE the first centerpiece arrangement. We have been looking for a simple, edgy alternative and I think this hits the spot! Right on :-) THANK YOU!!!

I love the floss garland and the fabric flowers! Now I want to do those, too :) Too bad we’re in Jamaica…that seriously limits the amount of DIY I can do. Boo :(

I wish I had DIY’ed my Save the Dates. They needed to go out before Christmas, and we were just too busy and crazed, so we ordered them instead. They were beautiful and turned out fine, but seeing all the cute ideas on Weddingbee since then has made me jealous!

I can honestly tell you that I love looking at everything and anything that is DIY but I know that I wish I had $1,000,000 to do all my DIY projects…..
I have to say that I am doing everything DIY to save money and because I know that if it doesn’t look good there is no one to blame but myself.
I love the paper flower centerpieces!!!

Wow such great ideas! Thanks for sharing. I totally agree on the whole not enough time for DIY stuff. I hope I can finish up my to-craft-list before June. :)
