Headband Obsession!

February 25th, 2009 @ 3:02 pm by Mrs. Apple Cider

I have already warned my bridesmaids that I want them to wear headpieces. I am currently obsessed with them. Check out these GORGEOUS pictures of bridesmaids with headpieces from the amazing photographer Leo Patrone.

I am loving these from J.Crew.

These are beautiful. They’re from Anthropologie.

Also check out some of my favorite Etsy stores for headpieces!

Are you considering coordinating headpieces for your bridesmaids? What will they look like?

Ah yes! My maid of honor is actually going to wear a peacock feather one to make her stand out a bit from the other girls. We found her piece on Etsy. She’s been searching for an occasion to wear one since she saw my bridal piece and I thought this would be perfect.

They DO look very cute in pictures — any special color have your eye right now?

Yes, so cute!!! :)
I made some birdcage veils for a friends wedding a year and a half ago… the bride gave me the netting to work on, and she spray painted the netting teal to match the dresses! They were so cute.

I have to find my dresses before I can even begin to find headbands, but since I am a headband freak I know that I will be incorporating some sort of head piece… I love ribbons and flowers, but I just got into feathers!!! I picked up an amazing peacock feather headband from Etsy….

I think that it is a great look and another cute and fun way to get all of your maids to have a more cohesive look!!

I love headbands! And those J.Crew ones are too cute. My BMs will have flowers similar to the Anthropologie ones you pictured, but in more of a chiffon fabric.

Since I chose black dresses for my bridesmaids, I had etsy seller LovMely create unique flowers for my seven girls to wear in their hair so that they’ll stand apart from other guests that will likely wear black. She’s been so great to work with, and has listened to my every request so that these are truly personalized gifts. I highly recommend working with her! http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=13298524

I love the flower hair pins! So cute!
My MOH and me will wear the same hair vine from Etsy seller Lindsey: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=20758879
She agreed to make them in ivory for us, that’s what I love about Etsy - everyone is so flexible and eager to please, it makes for a great shopping experience :)

I am obsessed with headbands for me! I found this beautiful creamy silk flower headband at Urban Outfitters, and now I am trying to figure out how to make it look good on my very long straight hair. put it up? Wear it down? big decisions!

I’m in love with the fans! Unfortunately, they will not go with the theme of my wedding…. I just ordered a leaf headband from an the etsy seller Clybournave to potentially use for my bridesmaids. She has some really unique headbands - http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=7032911. I can’t wait to see how mine look!
