Initially, Mr. Spring Roll and I agreed not to exchange wedding day gifts, as a way to save money. However, I couldn’t resist the excitement of an exchange, and admitted so to Mr. Spring Roll. So, the exchange was a go, but there was one little problem: I had no idea what to get my groom.
You see, Mr. Spring Roll is a man who has everything. What could I possibly get for the man who has everything? I could go *NSYNC on him, and bring him my love, but I can’t wrap up my love. So, I did the next best thing, and made him a photo book with 100 reasons why I love him.
The book is lovey-dovey and great, but I also wanted to give him something to wear on our big day. Mr. Spring Roll doesn’t wear jewelry, or funky socks, so I got him cufflinks. I didn’t just get him any old cufflinks; I got him camera cufflinks (Mr. Spring Roll is a concert photographer. Cute, huh?).
And last but not least, what I’m sure will be his favorite gift, orange Tic Tacs. No, not just one container, but 120 containers of his favorite treat. Silly, I know, but you can’t imagine how much he loves those little two-calorie mints.

I’m torn on this! My FI doesn’t really like receiving gifts I think it makes him feel sheepish for some reason! So I think we’ll just exchange cards on the big day…but I wish I could do something cute…those cufflinks are to DIE for!!

I plan on giving my future hubs a really nice camera. He loves to take pictures as well, but he is lacking in the good camera department to really be as awesome as he wants to be! We plan on giving each other the gifts early so he can play with it, and use it for the big day.

I love the cufflinks..I too got my FH cufflinks I had customized cufflinks. I had a photo of his grandparents on the cufflinks. I found a shop on Etsy.. karenskitsch…She does amazing work…..

I took something he already had and made it mo’ better. He had some foreign coins and stamps collected during his childhood that were really crappily framed, so I had them redone by an archival framing company. The perk: I already know he likes ‘em.
Awesome, i love that book idea! I got cufflinks for the groom and groomsmen, plus our dads and my brother who will be the officiant. Those cameras are too cute, and the tic tacs are a great idea too! I think he’ll love everything you give him

I love the book! The cufflinks are super fun! I want to get my groom cufflinks, hopefully pre-wedding since he doesn’t have any yet.
My FH has been wishing for a puppy forever so for a wedding gift so I plan on making a small basket with filled with dog toys and treats and a coupon to go pick out a puppy.

what sweet gifts! your groom is a lucky man indeed! My FI is a big history buff (esp Civil War history), and has always collected autographs. I’m planning to get him an autograph from a big Civil War figure, such as James Longstreet or Joe Hooker. We just bought a house in an area in GA which is almost on top of a major Civil War battlefield, and it’s exactly what my FI wants. Definitely not most guy’s idea of a dream wedding gift, but i know my man and this will make him so happy!

i’m keeping a diary in the midst of our wedding planning - including thoughts about my dress, other secret surprise stuff - as a gift to him.
however because of the surprises, i can’t give it to him on the day of the wedding. it shall have to be a morning-after gift then!

I gave T some cufflinks that were made of vintage maps and of cities that were near and dear to our hearts.
When we get married, I’m having some more made of where we get engaged, and where we are married…also from the same designer on etsy!
Awww, how sweet! I once cut out hundreds of little circles and put something I loved abut my FH on each one, then hung them all over the house. I wish I’d thought to make a book so that it would be more permanent!
