Coveting Boutonnieres

March 4th, 2009 @ 5:26 pm by Mrs. Apple Cider

I am so excited that there are options for boutonnieres. I haven’t even discussed them with Mr. AC, but hopefully he will read this and be inspired. ;) Check out the amazing boutonnieres created by lfinkels on Etsy. They are $19.

(This one is my favorite!!)

Martha always comes through with ideas. Check out my last post on Martha Love! Here are some of her DIY ideas for boutonnieres.

(DIY directions here - source)

I am also in awe of these boutonnieres from the Etsy shop of amanda1986 - Design Whimsy. The prices are amazing!!

I have a feeling Mr. Apple Cider is really going to like these from the Etsy shop of JloveS. I could eat them up! I love them.

I know these could be DIYed, but to save time, you could splurge!! I love them.

Are you considering unique boutonnieres? What will they look like?

I love these so much. I have been eyeing Amanda1986’s products, and they are gorgeous. I am planning on having her do my bouquet, bridesmaid’s bouquets, and butonnieres for my 10/10/10 wedding. It’s so much fun to think beyond traditional flowers, and look at these gorgeous creations!

Love them!! I am totally gonna make the boutonnieres, but I have no idea what to do yet! We’re getting married October, so maybe some neutral flowers with twigs to make it fally. But I do love all those you showed!

No…how can they be? They are so beautiful. What a deal at $15. You will have these forever. I especially love the feather. Feathers are my weakness.

The boutonniers are total up to the Mr with a little guidence from me. But he is totally in love with something unique I think we may have to check out these Etsy shops. Maybe he like Mr AC will get inspired and order him and the other guys there boutonniers.

That second bout (and the 4th from the bottom, actually) is amazing! I’m hesitant to have a non-floral boutonniere, though, since I know my FH isn’t the type to keep it, and we’d just end up getting rid of it down the road.

Though with something that cute, I could always pay it forward to another bride…

I love them! Martha makes it look so easy to replicate, but I don’t think I could make it look as nice. I also love Twigs & Honey’s boutonnieres as well. They sell for around $13 - $20, and I think they are well worth it.

Oh my goodness! I am so honored to have been included amongst all these beautiful boutonnieres! I have a focus on vintage and reclaimed items that will live on well past your wedding day, and truly try to capture whimsy and love. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Cheers,
