Still laughing after our great group shots, Mr Breezy and I hustled out of the lobby to catch some photos on the beach while there was still sun. Since our ceremony started a half hour late due to the power failure at the resort, and because we dawdled drinking champagne in the gazebo afterwards, we were really in a rush!
My MOH Pepperpot and cousin K barely managed to get some food in me before I was whisked away.

I didn’t notice it at the time but you can see by the picture below (taken by our friend Kuba) that the par-tay in the gazebo resumed after we left. Well, that solves the mystery of what all our guests were doing while we were gone taking photos.

Wait, where are the groomsmen? Yoo-hoo GROOOOMSMENNNNN!!!
Oh there you are. Where were you? I see, looking for El Presidente. (Note innocent look on GM #1’s face, compared to manical grin on GM #3’s face. Not sure I want to know what plot I just interrupted.)

En route to the beach, we pause by yet another botanical wonder. Sure what the heck, let’s get some more shots.

Excuse me while I kiss my husband.

Hey guys, why dontcha all come over here and stand around looking all cool-like, like those fashion cover thingies you see sometimes.

Hmm. We all look kinda stiff. Only one way to solve that… IMPROMPTU DANCE-OFF.
(I think Mr Breezy must’ve had Stayin’ Alive in his head or something. What do you think?)

Alright gang, onward! Mr Breezy, you’re on dress duty - hop to it. Welcome to married life.

Finally we got to the beach. Our first task sounded easy enough: “Go down a ways and then walk toward me holding hands,” said Photophil.
Pffft! No problem!

Hmm. Then again, judging by the uncomfortable look on Mr Breezy’s face and the smirk on mine, maybe it’s not so easy after all.
Ok so this time we’ve got some smile action going on but… uh… how come I look like an Amazon Woman? Sheesh, I’m not THAT tall.

Note to brides doing beach photos: unless your man positively towers over you, make sure you’re the one walking closest to the water. D’oh.

Oh well. So those didn’t work out so well. Let’s just stand and make out instead. Mr Breezy looks a bit uncomfortable though; what’s he supposed to do with his hands here? It’s so much easier being the girl.

Let’s try this again. Just hunker down and I’ll whisper sweet nothings in your ear: “Here honey, the remote’s all yours… yes of course you can have ice cream for breakfast… no don’t get up I’ll bring it to you.” (Okay, so they were the Mr Breezy’s version of sweet nothings.)

His turn to whisper to me: “No no, let me do the dishes… no honestly, I love vacuuming… darling you look like you need a foot massage…”
Mmm Mr Breezy, you sexy talker you.

So those are nice an’ all, but really, we’re hams at heart so we didn’t quite loosen up in front of the camera until we started to goof around.

Whirling me around was ENORMOUS fun. Well, for one of us.

You’d never tell from this picture but Mr Breezy’s saying to me through gritted teeth: “Ohmypoorbackarewedoneyet??”

Alright that’s enough of us.
Wedding party, show us whatcha got! 1… 2… 3…

21 JUMP STREET!

So we thought walking down the beach without smirking was hard? HA. This jumping thing is insane. See, it’s really hard to guess what you’re going to look like until you see the photos.

Oh by the way, I’m not sure I mentioned it, but Mr Breezy moonlights as a Kung Fu panda. Hiii-YA!

Also, we are Olympic hopefuls for the co-ed jumping jacks event. (Yay Vancouver 2010!)

And now for some audience participation (yes, that means you). Here’s what you’re gonna do: put your trigger finger on that scroll thing-a-bobber on your mouse and for the next four photos, scroll through ‘em REALLY REALLY FAST, okay?
Trust me, it’s fun.
Ready? Set? GO!

Wheeeeeeeeeee!
And with that, the Breezys & Co. are off to go get ready for dinner.
