Has anyone else really honed their product hunting skills after wedding planning began? Ever since Miss Powder Puff posted about rehearsal dresses I fell in love with this dress for my bridal crew.*
It takes forever to ship, so I know I’m not the only one coveting this lovely number. Since then I’ve become an avid stalker of photos of this dress. So lucky me when I saw it posted on Snippet & Ink!
Would that be enough to satiate my hunger? Heck no! So I headed to the photographer’s blog (Jonathan Canlas) to view more photos of the dress. Since all my girls haven’t received them, I’m desperate to get a feel for how they fit on non-models, what shoes people have been paring with them, how different bouquets look with the dress, etc. So, I was ultra excited to see photos like this one that show that the dress doesn’t magically become a tea-length dress on shorter ladies (I hate that).
Or this one, showing how lovely white bouquets look with the deep purple dress.
Anyone else on the hunt to see your ideas in real life?
*I know I already said we picked the dresses… but then I couldn’t resist after I saw these!

I know what you mean about the honed internet skills - I couldn’t find photos of my dress anywhere … until eventually I hunted them down on a wedding photographer’s blog!
I absolutely love the dress, and it looks so much better on those bridesmaids. The details are beautiful, and the deep purple is to die for.
That’s so funny that you just posted about this dress–I just sent pictures of potential BM dresses to all of my BMs like three days ago, and this was one of the contenders! I actually had sort of ruled it out as being too casual, but now that I see it “in action,” it looks great!

LOVERLY!!! the floral details are superb, and the rich color is excellent too. (Much better than the earlier choice…) not to mention these will surely be worn again!
Hahaha, this is the dress my bridesmaids will be wearing. I had no idea it was going to be so popular!! I also have pictures of how they fit on non-model girls, if you are interested.
Wow, I’ve thought about getting this dress just for myself but it looks great as a bridesmaids dress.
oooh, these are so much better than your previous choices! the color is rich but not too flashy, and the details are perfect!
Oh and I forgot to mention that we will be pairing their dresses with orange tea rose bouquets.

I LOVE that dress! I tried to talk my cousin into having those for her wedding (b/c I wanted to wear it!), but she didn’t like it…bummer!

I loved that dress after Mis Powder Puff’s post, but it looks even prettier on, those pictures are gorgeous! 
i saw that dress on that post and have been in love with it since. i wanted to get it for a wedding i’m attending this summer but the price is much too rich for my blood unfortunately
i love this dress and have been wanting this dress but it doesnt come in my size 
d’orsay, i’m a photo stalker too. it really makes a difference seeing a dress on a “real” person, with flowers, with shoes, with other dresses, etc.

I had seen in one of my many bridal magazines a ribbon that fits our wedding color scheme perfectly and I have been on a mission looking for it. I finally found it by contacting the magazine. Now I have the ribbon so I can use on the containers for the candy buffet
My bridesmaids are wearing that dress too! I had everyone buy it back in August. The wedding is this May, so perhaps people will stalk me on our photographer’s page. I e-mailed that post from Snippet & Ink to my mom & sister out of excitement for how nice they look. A while back I saw a wedding somewhere (but I forget where!) where the bridesmaids were wearing the pink version and it looked just as nice.
I met Johnathan Canlas at WPPI. I was so nerdy about it. Did you know he shoots exclusively film?

plum is one of my colours and shantung is a favourite fabric. i was pretty bummed when i found out they’ve sold out of all but three sizes. ah well, i will live vicariously through all these awesome pics of weddings that did use the awesome adriana papell dress.
I am totally obsessed with finding “real life” photos of EVERYTHING I’ve picked for my wedding! It consumes me. And those dresses are amazing, makes me wish my colours included that deep purple.
My MOH finally found her dress, and now I’m HUNTING for photos of “real people” in the dress!! It’s David’s Bridal though, so it’s HARD to find!!
I LOVE the elegant dark eggplant color! That’s one of my main colors too - GREAT job hunting down those pictures - it makes ALL the difference.

It’s what made me decide against chiffon dresses!

Ahh I love that dress. I almost bought it to wear at my rehearsal dinner, but it was backordered way back last summer too. Gorgeous!
It’s a gorgeous shade of purple. My sister/MOH tried SO hard to get me to go for purple so she could wear an awesome purple dress, and I almost wish I’d given it. ^_^
Oh, if *only* it were available in navy! Love the flower cutouts at the bottom and the sexy v-neck!
It’s now available in a gorgeous peacock color too! I just got it for either a shower or the rehearsal dinner.
