Have Swimsuit, Will Travel

For all of you ladies embarking on a tropical honeymoon, J. Crew has done it again with their endless array of pretty swimwear. While Mr. G and I haven’t decided where we will honeymoon, summer is on its way and I’ll need an excuse to go to the beach! Here are some of my favs…

Is a polka dot bikini, cliche? Not this one.

Seersucker never looked so cute.

Glamour goddesses will need this one. It’s shimmery!

I love anything that fits loosely in the tummy region. This cut is so stylish.

I also love halters that will help my small boobies appear bigger, like this one.

This one piece is so classic. It reminds me of something my beautiful Grandma wore in the 1950s.

The price tags definitely aren’t cheap, but usually swimsuits are on the pricey side. What’s up with that? I am not the type of girl who buys a new suit every year. In fact, I still wear the same Banana Republic bikini I bought four years ago (I’m not joking!), so perhaps I can rationalize buying a little something new for myself this year?

I seriously have a swimsuit addiction. This post was not a good idea, Glitter (jk!). I actually love VS swimsuits and I’m sure I’ll somehow justify buying a few for this season. I can’t help myself! Ps, LOVE that shimmery one…this is not good.

Ooooohhhh yeaaaah!! I happened upon a sale on victoriassecret.com and…new swimsuit! But I’m a swimsuit junky, I have like 5 of them (in varying degrees of modesty!) but I wanted one JUST for the honeymoon! I tried it on the other day and it fits *perfectly!* I’m so excited!!

I have not thought about the swimsuits for the honeymoon only because I am focusing on staying the right size for my wedding dress. But now after seeing this sample of swimsuits I think I need to start.

GUILTY… I just bought one. I got a bandeau style two piece in dark peony. Gotta have a strapless suit to not get tan lines for the wedding gown! Plus I live in SC.

I’m on a quest for a new bikini as well, I have a few but I want a new one for the honeymoon - it’s my honeymoon!
Old Navy always has cute swimwear and very affordable, H&M swimwear is also really cute and you can find some really funky ones there, although they are on the skimpy side sometimes.

Their bathing suits are delicious! I love the coral “old hollywood” looking one, along with the blue halter. Also- you could get a couple styles in the same color and mix and match.
I just got a black/white polka dot top @ Target and set it with a plain black bottom from Old Navy. Swimsuit perfection: $30.

I love J.Crew’s swimwear almost every year, but I always feel like their models are ESPECIALLY emaciated. I wish someplace would show the occasional swimsuit on a normal body!

I love the orange one. The tie in the front is so cute. I have already tried on MANY suits for this summer. But, I too am guilty of having one suite I just can’t seem to get rid of — it’s just too perfect and I can’t find a replacement.
