Groom Style - The Look

March 9th, 2009 @ 1:27 pm by Mrs. Apple Cider

Mr. AC and I have been looking at pictures and decided to create a “groom style” inspiration board. We tried to incorporate some of the colors we are going for. Check it out below!

CLICK PICTURE FOR CLOSER LOOK!

Some of the things Mr. AC is going for: brown colors that complement the deep jewel tones the bridesmaids are going for, and a cool style that isn’t too formal, but is dressed up. And hopefully some awesome fedoras!!! I am pretty much in love with fedoras. Check out some of these grooms that rocked the style. Mr. AC would look great in one!

Coming tomorrow, a post on the awesome ties that we chose from Cyberoptix!!!!

Great idea to create a groom-speration board! Mr. Bruschetta’s a bit of a metrosexual, so I think he might be into doing this to figure out his wedding day look. ;-)

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the fedora look with a nice brown/khaki suit! My FI is wearing his Air Force uniform for the ceremony, but I’m trying hard to convince him to change into the look(s) above during the reception!

We’re doing guinea feather boutonniers as well. I was just at a wedding where all the bouts were crushed from all the hugging just a few hours into the wedding. (I took it as a sign of lots of great love!). But fiance already has a fedora that we’ve stylized with guinea feathers, so it was a natural addition.

Love the groom-spiration board!

Fedoras are so cool, you wear one and are instantly cooler than before :P I just got my FI a new one but I don’t think he’s considered wearing one at the wedding. I will be sure to suggest it to him.

love the fedora too. It would never work for my fiance, but I think Mr. AC will pull it off! You two have super style!

I think a fedora is cool because it brings a classic look with little price. And men look so handsome in them!! What a great choice!

Thank so much for posting this!!! I have been trying to convince my guy that brown is fabulous and looks great. Hoping these pics help me.
Love the fedoras too, but I think that would be taking it way to far for my guy!

What a great idea for inspiration board for the groom. I may have to put one together for Mr. Ducky.

That groom style is awesome! It’s great to have a groom who’s stylish and fun, isn’t it?
