OMG. I hope I look this good on the actual wedding day! Denise Andersen you are AH-MAZ-ING!
This lady makes it so easy to get you to sit on top of a ten-foot balcony railing (with no harness) in the middle of the night while freezing and throwing a veil around, and make you look like you know what you’re doing. I’m usually extremely shy when I have my photograph taken, so Denise was just what I needed.
We started at Monte Carlo, where I got a lot of “Congrats” and “Best Wishes”, mixed in with a little “Don’t do its” from the thousands of tourists walking by. Do you wonder why it looks deserted? Hehe! That’s because Denise was shoo shoo-ing them away the whole time. She spoke. They listened… for real!
This is a rented dress from quite possibly the most awful rent-a-dress store in Las Vegas, but she showed me how to stand to take the focus off the gown. Without her, I would have just stood there throwing up peace signs and giving a goofy face or something.

She must have Photoshopped some boobs onto my chest… hello!
I was really nervous at first, but towards the end I was feeling like someone that should be sitting there, getting her picture taken. Ask anyone that knows me, and they’ll tell you how introverted I become when the camera comes out, let alone in the middle of a crowded casino.
It was so easy. I have a feeling Denise has that effect on people!

Next, we all piled in my little car and drove down to Bellagio to get some shots in front of the fountains. Have you seen those?? They’re these awesome bursts of water that are timed to go along with music—usually a show tune or a Broadway classic. It’s a must-see in Las Vegas!
Remember earlier I was telling you about how I was sitting on the balcony railing? Well, I fell off once… but luckily I fell forward, instead of backwards into the water. Once I got back on the railing (yes, we were sorta crazy!), it was smooth sailing. The music started, the fountains SHOT up, and Denise started snapping away.
“Look over here!” “Put your arms in the air holding the veil!” “Put your chest out!” This was seriously so much fun. I wish I could have worn my own dress, but this one actually doesn’t look half-bad in pictures!

This is when I got that bright idea to lay down on the railing. YIKES!!
I think you can see how scared I was in this shot. I mean, ok, I had my right leg wrapped around the pole-things on the bottom, but still. Did you know Dumpling was a daredevil? That’s right! I laugh in the face of terror! (Not really.)
And again, where did those boobs come from? I like it, and I’ll take ’em.
I’m so glad that big photography convention was in town (read about it here)!
I want to order one of these prints, but I can’t decide which one is my favorite! Which one do you like best?
Thank you so much Denise!
