They’re the first gifts we received off our wedding registry!
It’s really happening, and I can barely believe it! With my Chicago shower approaching next week, and our invitations going out at the same time, I have a feeling I’m going to look forward to Mr. Postman now more than ever!
What made you realize the wedding was just around the corner?

We got our first official wedding gift this week- it really made it feel real!! Get excited for your shower!
Gah! I loooooove Le Creuset and want so much of it for my own kitchen eventually. It’s moments like these I wish we weren’t doing a honeymoon registry, and could ask for such wonderfulness. My shower is really making the wedding seem real too. Mine is on Saturday and I have a feeling it will finally make me feel like a bride. IWith only 50 days to go, and our TO DO list jam packed until then, it’s all starting to feel real!
Definitely the shower. It was the first time it felt “real”.

I think the thing that made me realize our wedding was real was the gifts as well. I went on our registry the other day to get a pic for my blog and noticed people had purchased stuff off our registry that I have not received yet… EXCITEMENT!!!
I realized it when I had to send out the STDs…I was like…whoa…we’re really that close??
So exciting! It seems like forever until that will happen!
I definitely OD’d on the Le Creuset items on our registry but I’m SO excited about it!
That is so exciting!! We haven’t even registered yet but I’m already looking forward to all the fun gifts.
I have to tell you a funny story. A good friend of my sister’s said that from the moment she got engaged until her first baby was born it was non-stop UPS at her house. She said that she knew the second kid was going to be a different experience when no UPS guys showed up. Her theory was that all the presents are a way to make sure the species reproduces.
When I noticed items purchased off of my registry I was shocked for a few hours. I kept saying to Mr. Yogigal “someone bought all the towels, ALL OF THEM” he was like, stop trippin, they want to give us stuff
It just seemed so strange at first. I’m probably going to be a crying mess at my shower next week.
It is all so exciting and overwhelming!
oh YAY! the big day feels like it’s lightyears away…definitely hasn’t hit me yet!
