The morning of, the photographer stopped by the best man’s house to take pictures of the boys getting ready and to snap a couple of shots here and there. Both Mr. Flamingo’s parents were there as well to help him get ready for the big day.
Not many shots were taken, and the photographer didn’t seem to catch the little moments/details that were so important to us. It felt like he was more in a hurry to be where the bride was (according to Mr. F).
To top things off… the pictures that he did take were at the suggestion of the best man’s girlfriend (in pink, below) who happened to take our after wedding shoot photos since we were disappointed with our pro-pics. There were no pictures taken of the cuff links, of the bouts, or of any of those little details. We were really disappointed.
Can you believe that out of all the pictures there is NOT one of the groom and the best man? I was heartbroken when I got the pictures back, because it meant a lot to Mr. Flamingo to share this special moment with his best friend. Plus, the pictures with his parents are nothing spectacular, but at least he has pictures with them… whew!
But, what can you do? NOTHING!!! What is done is done. So, instead of getting worked up about it and thinking about the pictures that could of been, we’ll look at the ones we do have… and looking at Mr. Flamingo all pretty in his suit makes up for it for a good 5 seconds.

ooooh, that’s so dissapointing to have missed all those shots!
The ones you have look good, but that’s sad. 
Yeah, too bad he didn’t get your desired shots (a warning to us all!), but the last pic you posted, with Mr F smiling so big … priceless 
Thats why I understand Mrs.Shortcake… you only one chance to take shot of your wedding day, so its better to invest in someone that is reputable rather than trying to save for a cheaper photog.
I knew a couple of months before that I would regret my photog, but instead of switching and loosing my 500$ deposit, I decided to stick with them… bad idea. I should of listened to my gut. Oh well
I’m sorry you had a disappointing experience with your photographer! Happy to hear you had a good friend take after wedding photos of you all though!

That’s not cool about your photographer. At least you got to have an after wedding shoot!

How did you know your pro pics were poo?? I mean, you saw them and decided to take more pics, did you ask the photog to see the pics during the reception?
