Overnight Prints

March 25th, 2009 @ 5:51 pm by Mrs. Bee

Some of the Bees mentioned that it’d be nice to have Weddingbee business cards, so we had a bunch printed up through Overnight Prints!  Many a Bee has used Overnight Prints including Miss Stiletto and Miss Blush for their save the date postcards, Mrs. Emerald for her invitations and thank you postcards, and I’m sure there are many more.

They were super affordable — $178 for 5000 business cards and 100 magnets with one of their frequent coupons — and they turned out great.  Big props to Mrs. Cupcake for designing these cards!

Overnight Prints is offering a 10% discount on greeting cards for Weddingbee readers if you go here and use discount code 104WED through April 30th.

Let us know if you spot a Weddingbee business card floating around somewhere! :)

Wow this site is awesome! I just created bridal shower thank you cards using “soon-to-be Mrs. ____” on the top and “thank you” on the bottom! I found some I liked online that cost a lot more and these are definitely going to be the ones I buy! Plus 10% off? I’m sold.

I am a professional Graphic Designer and have used Overnight Prints. I know how to create a file and what to expect . Suffice it to say, they have become my number one printer for “DO NOT RECOMMEND”. For more details visit. http://www.wedchron.blogspot.com

As a professional graphic designer who works in-house for a marketing and publishing company, I must agree with “A VanDaele” and say that Overnight Prints isn’t my first choice for a printer.

Over the years, I had kept ordering from them, (probably around 6-7 times so far) mostly because of their price point, but each single time, none my projects were printed as they should have been.

I have had salmon colored cards print bright red! I once had a letterhead that had a teal and magenta logo print some yucky mud color that looked nothing like the original. I even had a “rich” black background print as gray and images that were supposed to be grayscale print with a blueish tint.

I have had several clients pull out at the last minute because they were NOT happy with the way their project printed and it was too late to have them reprinted by them. Plus, they have the “wonkiest” customer service line ever. One second you are “2nd in line,” next you are 5th.

It’s true that they warn you with a disclaimer on their site and terms of agreement that because they are gang-run (meaning they are printed with other projects on the sheet) that the colors may shift a “LITTLE” bit. My experience with their color shifts haven’t even come close to little.

Also, because you are uploading what is the equivalent of a “rasterized” file, a lot of the copy won’t come out as clean as you’d expect.

I will be “trying” to order from them again in the next month or so, ONLY because I have A LOT of merchandise credit with them worth lots of money from all the returned jobs I have had from them.

Here’s to hoping that this time around, I’ll have something acceptable.

I’m hoping these WONDERFUL weddingbee cards are a sign that my project will also print out nicely! Because from that photo, the color turned out well!
