About Mrs. Meatball

I can hardly believe it! After 17 months of engagement, dreaming, planning and scheming, we are officially at 2 months to go!

Making a List, Checking It Twice : wedding schedule Checkli

(source)

I can’t help but feel a bit overwhelmed by all the details, vendors, et cetera that I have to keep straight somehow! I guess it’s time to take an inventory of our progress and see what’s still missing.

Tomorrow night I head off to Chicago for a whirlwind weekend of wedding goodness. MaPo is heading up my bachelorette party along with sister (and MOH) Dawn, and I can’t wait to see what they have in store.

My mom and Dawn have also planned a shower that I know nothing about except what time it starts. I’m so excited and feel totally spoiled by all the love. It will be the first time my whole bridal party is together, and I can’t wait for them to get acquainted. Big ups to my fabulous sister Kimberly and future sister-in-law Cathy for making the trip to Chicago for lil’ old me!

Speaking of sisters - happy birthday to Dawn today! My Maid of Honor, my sister, my heart!

May brides, how is your checklist coming along?

I’m 3 months away myself. I feel pretty good about where I am in the process. It is all starting to feel so real!!

I’ll be out in Chicago this weekend for my Chicago Bachelorette. Maybe I’ll see you out on the town with the other brides :)!

It’s better to check your list and catch any holes now rather than the day before though, right? :)

I was quite OCD and ended up staying up until 3:30am a few days leading up to the wedding. I suggest finding a way to avoid this. hehe

How exciting!

I’m a little over 6 months and I’ve started freaking out! I still have so many little details and projects to do! I’ve made about 3 lists now, revising and checking…seems like it keeps growing! I’m so worried that 3 months from now I’ll still have a long list OR have another batch added to my list! Lists usually calm me down cause it looks less on paper than it is in my head. Unfortunately, it doesn’t apply to wedding lists!

I’m with you there - wedding is May 9th, and time is just flying by!

It seems like there’s so much that needs to be done all of a sudden. Plus, I’m trying to do as much as I can now, so that I can actually enjoy the couple of weeks before the wedding.

It’s getting very exciting with things like bachelorette parties coming up though … it’s almost as if it’s really going to happen!

Monday was my two month mark and I am FREAKING! It might also be because our invites went out that day as well, but this has hit me hard! I am feeling the pressure, for sure.

I’m in the exact same boat as you! We made a list and checked it twice, and have basically no free weekends until the big day. By total contrast, I had the most loving, beautiful shower thrown for me last weekend that really made all the happiness and warm fuzzies start sinking in too. All in all, I’m feeling overwhelmed by the polarity of the final stretch–extreme love, support and excitement off-set by extreme franticness, indecisiveness and generalized busy-ness!

I would be happy to share my check off list with anyone. I have organized it by the month things need to be done. My advice is make a list of everything! And work on one thing at a time. Do not try to concur everything at once. You will over whelm yourself.
