B-maid Selections…

March 27th, 2009 @ 3:00 pm by Mrs. Gloss

I presented the Glossy ladies with their dress options, and although they haven’t tried any of them on yet, they all preliminarily selected the same dress. Go figure.

My fabulous ladies will by rocking the “Lyndsey” in Classic Navy by J.Crew. They loved the deep V in the back.

And they were all VERY excited about getting to wear yellow shoes…

Did you envision your bridesmaids all wearing different dresses, only to find that they all liked the same one?

A great choice!!! They are going to look fabulous!

My MOH wore the “Lyndsey” and the other BMs wore the “Sophia” in silk chiffon.

all my girls wore the Lyndsey and loved it, they looked wonderful. Be careful of the low back and bra straps though.

Hey, I called it! :-)

No, my bridesmaids all gladly agreed to wear the dress that was my top pick for them.

I gave my bridesmaid 3 options and said my only request is that all 3 dresses be represented. (They were also J Crew- Sophia, Juliet & Twist Tank). The Sophia was everyone’s second choice but no one’s first. Luckily one girl offered to take that to make things easier :-)

YAY for yellow shoes!
I totally thought my maids would wear a different dress in the same color or the same dress in a different color, but it worked out that they are all wearing the same dress in the same color :)

I gave my 5 girls a choice of the 5 jcrew cotton cady dresses. Thought it was a great idea at first, but alas:
- one hates all 5 choices
- another doesnt want to try all of them on
- another one wont order any without trying them all on (note - jcrew stores dont carry bridesmaid dresses)
- and another wants the Lydia dress my MOH (sister) already ordered, but she doesnt want to look like anyone else in the bridal party.
so*sigh*… let the drama begin…

I wanted my 3 BMs to pick different dresses in the same color, but they want to look the same, so they feel bridesmaid-y and special. However, my sister/MOH may or may not be expecting, so she may or may not need a maternity BM dress…. We’ll see how it plays out.

I love that dress!! I want my bridesmaids to pick out whatever they want. If they happen to all pick the same dress out of the options given, then I’ll deal. :)

Mine all wore the same dress that I picked out (they liked it!) and different shoes of a similar color.

A bright or pastel yellow?

Navy and Yellow, excellent…

I gave my BMs 3 options and requested that all the dresses be represented by the 5 of them + my MOH. They ALL choose 1 dress… so my dream was shot. I don’t want to put anyone in another option if they love a certain dress. Whatev.

Any chance your bridesmaids now want to sell their dresses? Please let me know if so. :)
