Coolest Bathroom Ever

April 1st, 2009 @ 12:44 pm by Mrs. Bruschetta

Like, seriously. Ever.

We’ll be using this bathroom — which is located on the second floor of the F.U.E.L. House — as the women’s room. Two single bathrooms downstairs will be for our male guests, and bridal party members will have access to a small sitting area and restroom, also on the first floor.

(I plan on making signs for the doors of each area, so our guests aren’t confused! And yes, I realize the first interior look I’m giving you of our reception site is a bathroom — but I just think it looks so amazing!)

I’ve read up on bathroom baskets, but my issue isn’t what to include… it’s what presentation to use!

I figure all three (four?) should look similar, and want to take the design inspiration from the amazing upstairs lava.

My favorite find from Crate and Barrel is actually a fruit basket!

I keep looking at the vibrantly colored boxes on The Container Store’s website — but want to make sure I pick something I could reuse after the wedding, like these clear organization trays.

Are you searching for unique containers for your bathroom baskets? And, where else do you suggest I search to find the perfect complement for this super-chic bathroom?

Love that bathroom! I’d go with clean line & aesthetic, if you’re looking to “match” the design of the bathroom. So, I’d go for the clear acrylic over the basket. Try looking for deeper serving trays. Maybe one with sections? & of course you could use it after the wedding!

That bathroom does look amazing! :) If you have an ikea near you, I’d definitely suggest checking there.
They also have some of their items on their website as well.

love the clear ones!!!!

we are not doing bathroom baskets… SHOULD WE BE?!?!

i kind of just shrugged it off because the bathroom is kind of public anyway (any guest in the hotel can use it).

my whole theme is very rustic and woodsy, so woven baskets were the way to go for us.

I love the idea of doing a wire basket or maybe even a square vase.

You’re right, that bathroom is awesome!!

I think I would spend the whole night in there, seriously - nice work!
I’d go for the clear acrylic ones, you could maybe line them with some type of fabric or paper that matches your colors if you wanted, then just remove it after to use them in your house.

What a great bathroom pic! I’m curious, though, about what you’re putting in the baskets…

I realized recently that there are no counters in the bathroom at our venue! It totally threw me for a spin. I might try to bring in some kind of a stand, but might not bother. I love your basket choices!

Wow that is so cool! I don’t really know what a bathroom basket is - so I guess I’ll see what you come up with :-)

I think the clear baskets can have more life after the wedding. What are you going to do with 4 fruit baskets. Also if you line them with some tissue paper or fabric, maybe something to contrast from the blue sinks it will look great.

That’s probably the coolest bathroom I’ve ever seen! I think I would go with the clear baskets.

We decided to do the upstairs bathroom at co-ed, the two person shower still there makes me nervous though!

Definitely the coolest bathroom ever! Mine are super boring so I’m really going to have to jazz em up… candles in the bathroom? have to check with the coordinator on that one.

I love your idea of something reusable - I’m leaning toward the container store option because things won’t fall through the spaces…

I’m so jealous!!!! I only wish I could have afforded the Fuel house. Have you seen the photo book they have there? They have some amazingly creative ideas from past weddings there.

@Cole~ Thank you!I thought I was crazy!

I would make the upstairs co-ed and have one of each downstairs. I would hate to have to hike up the stairs each time in heels. Ouch!

I like the clear trays!
