Balloons and Ric-Rac

April 3rd, 2009 @ 11:00 am by Mrs. Mascara

How cool is this idea for escort cards from Once Wed? They would be perfect for a modern wedding.

The pink ric-rac is such a sweet detail. I am amazed at some of the things people come up with to use for wedding decor. I think this same idea could be applied to centerpieces too. This is such a simple (and cheap!) DIY project that would make a big impact!

What’s you favorite inspirational wedding decor photo?

OH I love the balloons. I think you could actually pair tiny colorful balloons with Gerbera daisies and make centerpieces! I adore WeddingBee for this reason…crazy ideas make for massive amounts of creativity and inspiration!

I just wanted to let you know that the work shown above is by none other than Courtney Keefe de Jauregui of Flush Designs (also a WeddingbeePro), who happens to be my stationer! She is absolutely great to work with and has supplied me with tons of ideas on my own wedding decor. Needless to say, I’ve gotten a lot of inspirations from her work, and will incorporate her advice on our wedding day. Just wanted to give her a shout out.

Are those cotton balls?! Who would ever even think of that? Too cute! I’ll have to make a not of this for our at home BBQ!

I’m with Mrs. Flamingo, I’m not usually a fan of balloons, but I love how they were used. I’m also wondering what that font is, it’s awesome!
