I got the magical call. The one that everyone anticipates for FOREVER, it seems. Yes, that’s right, my dress is in!
Holla!
And in a week or so my love and I will be reunited at my first fitting!
The thing is, it’s been a good SEVEN MONTHS since I’ve last seen my dress, and there’s so much eye candy out there! I may have had a wandering eye and occasionally even wished I’d chosen something different. The horror!
But soon all my fears will be assuaged (I hope!) because it’s coming up on the moment of truth, people! Will I have successfully toned my arms enough to look rockin’ in my dress? Will I still even like it?! I can hardly wait to see!
How long did you have to wait for your dress to come in? Did you have any dress doubts beforehand?

Oh I love that dress. It’s sooooooo beautiful! I’m in the process of waiting 13 weeks for mine.
My dress just came in too (yesterday infact)! I waited 3.5 months (seems fast right?!) I definitely was having some doubts amid all the eye candy out there just like you, but now that I have my dress and could slip it on again, the worries melted away! Good luck with your first fitting!
mine takes 6 months!!! i’m hoping it’s an over estimate!
…but let me clarify my bridal place doesn’t have dresses already made, they make the dress to fit you — which is extremely scary!

How fun!! I had to wait 7 months too and I still LOVED it!! I am sure you will fall in love with it again in seconds.
I had to wait around 7 months too, and I know exactly how you feel, lots of anxiety if I would still like it. Of course I did, and so will you! Yay for your wedding dress arrival!!

I’ve been waiting on mine since the end of November. I too have had lingering doubts and fears and outright crying fits that I made the wrong choice…but after hearing that so many brides go through those feelings, I’m right back to being in love with it and I can’t wait for my phone call!
I waited for almost 7 months for my dress and I felt just like you did. I had seen all kinds of other dresses in the meantime and wasn’t sure that my dress was The Dress. However, as soon as I saw it again and put it on, all those doubts went away. I’ll bet that’s how you’ll feel. The dress is gorgeous!

i waited 6 months. and it doesn’t fit me now. worst day of my life, i swear. now i have to worry about losing weight. I have come to hate my dress. hopefully the same doesnt happen to you!
Oh gosh, I waited eight months. Crazy! Just looking at the picture of me in the sample — and my short hair! — really makes it seem like SUCH a long time!
