Several months prior to our wedding day, I couldn’t wait for it to be over with. Not because I was ready for it to be over with, but because I couldn’t wait to chop my hair off. I did just that on Saturday, less than two weeks after our big day, on my 24th birthday.
As I sat in the stylist’s chair, watching my long hair fall to the floor, my pulse raced. I’ve only had short hair maybe twice in my life, so this was a big change for me. A big change that I absolutely love and kind of regret not doing sooner. Nevertheless, I love how my hair looked on our wedding day, and love how it looks now.
Do you plan to dramatically change your hair prior to, or after your wedding day?

I chopped mine last summer, right before my FI proposed. I do have to say, I loved it when I got it, but I wish I had longer hair now that my wedding is comming up!

i have dread locks and have been growing them for 7 yearsv (one year longer than me and my FI have been together!). i think that within of a year of our wedding, i’d like to cut them off and start anew. besides, its a brand new stage of my life, right?
i have medium length hair that’s at the perfect length for me so i don’t plan on going through the post wedding chop.
Ooh it looks great! I’m soooo dying to do the same, sigh. Just can’t make up my mind if I should do it now or what until after.
You look great with short hair, but my hair is my pride and joy, so I’ll be keeping it even after the wedding.
