About Mrs. Shortcake

I finally bought a DVD ripper so that I could tear apart the footage from guests’ home videos and put them back together. Here’s the processional from last week’s recap:

The embedded blogging version of this video is of pretty poor quality - so make sure to press “HQ”!

Mrs. Shortcake,
I have to watch the video at home. But I think for others like me who do not plan on hiring a videographer it would be fantastic -if you didn’t already- to put together a blog post/tutorial on how you put together all those home videos into a cohesive film? Any tips on what programs you used, why you chose it over others out there?
Thanks!

Your precessional is so beautiful!

That’s your photographer at the end there, right?

Besides the other reasons you mentioned, I can see why you were perpetually ticked at him. When your dad lifted your veil (a very touching moment!) the photog just stayed behind your dad’s back - I’m not professional, but I’d rather get the shot on the other side of you two. A shot of your dad kissing you, the look in your eyes when your veil is lifted - all of this - I think is stunning.

Yes, please tell us how you did that fantastic video. And I know there was a disaster involved, but I love the pic of your bouquet!!!! And the part where you hug your Dad!! So Sweet.

Very very lovely…I will admit…for at least a minute I thought you had some incredibly talented muscians at your wedding, until I realized that it was most likely a string orchestra of at least 15 people… Not that I doubt for a second you would have something that amazing at your wedding…but I can’t imagine they would have all fit in the chapel :D

@Gerbera: that’s a great idea! I’ll do that when I’m done my main recaps!

@Mrs. Corn: We did have a full string orchestra, we just hid one musician under each pew! ;) The music on the video is the same as the original music played on that day - I just separated the audio from the video file and then put the music back on top. That way, I didn’t have the sound of people getting up/murmuring/audio screeches to distract from the moment!

@Miss Rye Bread: He stayed in the same place the ENTIRE TIME! The pictures from him have cameras in the way/our heads chopped off/etc! :S

You know, our stinky photographer didn’t get any photos of us from the front when my parents handed me off…I didn’t even realize that until you made your comment…grr!

Sorry, the original reason I was posting was because I wanted to say, your face when you hugged your dad was so touching! You could totally feel the love through the video!

Shortie-you totally made me cry. You are so lovely and look so over the moon happy in the video. And I love the huge hug you gave your Dad…so cute and honest.

The hug with your daddy at the end of the aisle is SO sweet. I love the way you just grabbed him in for a big ol’ bear hug! So sweet!
