What to Wear, What to Wear…

April 8th, 2009 @ 10:32 am by Mrs. Gloss

It’s true. I am addicted to shoes.

All flat, of course. I spent many an hour stalking shoes online before I found the *perfect ones*.

cute green ones

What to Wear, What to Wear... : wedding shoes Greens

pink and blue ones

What to Wear, What to Wear... : wedding shoes Pinkblu

Maybe some more formal ones for the ceremony?

What to Wear, What to Wear... : wedding shoes Silver01

silver ones

What to Wear, What to Wear... : wedding shoes Satind

Satin d’orsay flats!

And OH! J.Crew! Most of their shoes were out of my budget (unless they happened to be on final sale) but they are SO amazing.

What to Wear, What to Wear... : wedding shoes Jewelto

two-tone ballet flats

Hmm. I’m thinking a jewel themed wedding in the garden…

What to Wear, What to Wear... : wedding shoes Lizasho

peep-toe flats

Modern wedding - black/white/turquoise with cocktails

What to Wear, What to Wear... : wedding shoes Peeptoe

peep-toe Mary Janes

Short dress, vintage vibe, with a foot-lifting kiss

How is a girl to choose?

I love the Jcrew two tone ballet flats. What’s even better? They have those in kid sizes for the FGs!

I am so happy about really saturated jewel toned and “juicy” colors out there in fashionland right now. Splashes of color perk up any outfit!!! JCrew is such a flirt with its taunting adorable yet too expensive for everyday-ness fashions.

*sigh* a girl after my own heart.

I’m gonna use a green pair of satin ballet flats from Ann Taylor for my reception as well. It kind of looks like the J.Crew ones, but a bit more affordable.

I’m not sure if they’re still on sale, but it doesn’t hurt to look.

I love those two tone J Crew flats. I have my eye on some Kate Spades that are WAY out of budget, but I keep hoping they will go on sale.

I’ve been ogling the J. Crew 2-tones, but they are toooo expensive. Plus, I have the opposite problem–I’m shy of 5′2 (& he’s 6′1). If you are trying to “stay short,” I’d steer clear of the last pair. But who really cares if you’re taller than he is? -Great catches come in all sizes!

Btw, students & teachers get 15% off @ J. Crew–just make sure you do it over the phone or in person.

If you sign up for J. Crew’s emails, they usually send you additional discounts for final sale items.

I can’t find those satin d’orsays on the CR site. Do you have a better link for them by any chance? Love ‘em!

I’ve recently fell in love with flats WITH bows! I just think they are the most adorable thing!

I’m thinking of getting these as my shoes:

But your colored flats are so tempting!
