About Mrs. Duckling

After leaving Pepperdine (go here for Part I if you are just catching up), we headed to an awesome beach spot that Mike knew about. We definitely hiked down a small cliff to get to it, but I think it was well worth it. The day was coming to an end, and the gentle lighting just was perfect for the beautiful setting.

These last few pictures were taken just above the beach as we were getting ready to leave for the day. Mike asked us to wait behind him, and took advantage of the gorgeous scenery.

We had so much fun with Mike, Rachel, and Chloe. The afternoon seemed to fly by! I’m so excited that they will be shooting our wedding as well, and can’t wait to hang out more. I think that taking engagement pictures was a great way for us to get more comfortable in front of the camera, not to mention, a chance to get to know some wonderful people. Also, as an FYI, Mike is a destination wedding photographer. Their studio is actually based in San Luis Obispo, but he is often in the LA area and is traveling down to San Diego for our wedding.

Well that’s it for the Duckling engagement pictures! What did you think? Any ideas about which ones we should use on our Save the Dates and website?

What are your favorite e-pics from your own shoot? Share them below, I’d love to see them!

I like #5 the best in terms of one you could use for your save the dates! I love the beach pictures! For your website, I think you could just a good variety of them since you could put a different picture on each page. Another idea on where you could use them is for your table names/numbers which is an idea I actually got from Mrs. Champagne who did that for her tables.

Oh Miss Duckling, I like them all!!! These came out so good. :) I think any of them would work great for save the dates, but if I had to pick my favorites… I would choose 1,3,6, or 8.

My favorite is still the one of you all in the fountain, but I think the one of you all in the field of flowers would also be stunning on a save the date! :) I’d just put a variety on your website.

#4, where your toe is just in the water and he’s holding you up…Gorgeous! Maybe not right for STDs, but I really like it…3 and 6 are my other favs.

Your pics are all really great. Looks like you two were having fun with them. I love the last one but wouldn’t use it for a save the date because it looks like Mr Duckling is trailing behind… I vote #5!

Yet another set of a beautiful couple. I love the first one of you two looking at the water coming close to you and the one of your feet…so cute! And the one of you two in the flowers looking at each other. Like others said these would be great for table numbers. But I def like the fountain ones for a save the date like the one of you two laying on the grass. Just beautiful! :)
