About Mrs. Taffy

Our invitations were mailed out a little over a week ago, and now that they have reached all of our guests, I am ready to reveal them!

I’ve tried to put this post together to show the visual steps that a guest would take as they opened our invitations. I also did this because I had a hard time understanding how to “stuff” all of the information, and hope this visual will be helpful to the hive.

I will do another post with the details of our invites. For now, just think of them as eye candy! ;)

Let’s start at the beginning…

I wish I didn’t have to blank anything out; the graphic looks better with our full names!

You can’t see how the blue Gocco ink shimmers when photographed flat, so I took this angled shot:

I was super excited to send an invitation to President Obama. It was supposed to be a surprise for Mr. Taffy, but he saw it by accident.

There you have it! I’ll write another post soon detailing the specifics of the invites and the saga to get these babies addressed, stamped, and out into the world! ;) We have already received lots of RSVPs and are very excited!

Very nice!
Questions, did you print by hand or by computer the addy on the front envelope?
Did stamps from Zazzle cost more?
Why did you send a invite to President Obama?

I love the presidential invite!
We’re Canadian and still plan on inviting Obama, The Pitts, and Don Cherry- if for no other reason than to make a funny speech about those who we’re unable to make it to the wedding ;)

I’m dying to know how/where you found that black bow! Is it DIY or did you buy them or were they part of your invite set? I’d LOVE to do something similar!!!
