Little Tuxes for the Little Guys

April 26th, 2009 @ 11:45 am by Mrs. Deviled Egg

Two of my nephews, Trevor and Gavin, will play very important roles on our wedding day. As part of the bridal party, they will be outfitted in tuxedos that will be mini versions of Mr. Deviled Egg’s, right down to matching vests and ties. Last weekend, my sister and I took the boys to get measured for their tuxes.

And here’s Trev, 6, trying on a sample jacket. He really seemed excited about trying it on.

Up next, Gavin, who has been given the job of announcing the entrance of the bride, was a little skeptical of the guy taking his measurements.

I asked Gavin, 3, for a smile, but this is the closest expression he gave me.

I think he liked trying on the jacket. He was being a little silly in the mirror.

All in all, the process was fairly painless and the kids were happy to be given lollipops on their way out the door. I really think the kids in our bridal party are going to be complete scene stealers because they are so darn cute, with or without the fancy clothes they’ll be sporting that day. I can’t wait for our guests to see how cute they’ll look when they make their grand entrance at the ceremony!

How did you decide on outfits for the children in your wedding party?

So cute!!!! We have no ring bearers, and I’m starting to think we are really missing out! Little tuxes are way more cute than little dresses…
