I DO Love a Good Deal

April 27th, 2009 @ 5:31 pm by Mrs. Beagle

Especially if it’s concerning the wedding. About a month ago, I was visiting my local Hobby Lobby when I stumbled upon these:

Of course, I took them home with me. Why? Did I have a purpose for them at the time? Well, no, but it was an offer I couldn’t refuse. At ~$3 each, these were a steal, and I know I will use them after the wedding. I bought the remainder of the store’s supply, which was 5 each of the small and medium and 3 of the large.

Now that they are living with me, I have been thinking about what will become of them. I finally decided to either use them on some of the outside cocktail tables or I will use them to spruce up the buffet line tables. And of course, after the wedding, they will look fabulous in our home!

What great deals have you come across while preparing for your wedding?

Those are perfect for cocktail tables and later in a unused fireplace or on a mantel! Great find!
I’d say the great deal we came across was our venue and our band… but I’ll have to tell about that later ;-)

I have been stalking pottery barn, west elm, crate and barrel and any other site for lanterns for my centerpieces (I have been waiting or them to go on sale)… well I walked into Kohls looking for bedding and my mom and I walked through the garden/outdoor area they had set up.. well I FOUND THE BEST lanterns, as tall as I wanted they were on sale for 27.99 from 69.99 AND I got an extra 15% off. I am SO happy!!! now I don’t have to stalk those websites anymore. lol

I really haven’t started shopping yet (saving my money for a summer with unpaid internships) but I’m hoping I’ll get as lucky as you for some DIY items. Those are fabulous! I’m planning to stick to items that can be reused only!

I love finding things that will not go to waste later! Those are so cute, and you could definitely use them in your home or give them away after your wedding as they are so classic!
