I Want Them All

April 28th, 2009 @ 6:24 pm by Mrs. Mascara

Check out the most beautiful bouquets I’ve ever seen, all in one picture, which I found on The Bride’s Cafe. I’ll take all six of them, thank you.

What’s that, you say? I can’t walk down the aisle carrying six bouquets? How about three? Or at least the purple one?

I’d yet to find a picture of my dream bouquet. That is, until I found this one. Sadly, my florist said ranunculus won’t be available in our area in September. Sad face. :(

As soon I get over the fact that the dream bouquet will never be mine, I think I’ll bring in the dahlia bouquet photos to my florist. I’m fairly certain I’ll be using all dahlias for my bouquet, in different hues of purple. The bouquet in the picture is one of the smaller ones I’ve found, which is more along the lines of what I’ve been looking for. I’m not really longing for a bouquet that’s twice the size of my head. Call me crazy, but I don’t want to lift weights on my wedding day. :) That is, of course, unless you’ll allow me to carry all six bouquets as previously requested. No? Okay then, this one will suffice.

While I’m with the florist, I might as well show her the green bouquet, as it’s almost exactly what I’ve been picturing for the bridesmaids bouquets. Different shades of green, with lots of texture. Perfect!

Are you sure I can’t just have all six? Pretty please?

Which bouquet is your favorite?

Green is my fave color and the texture! Yum! I want mine to be like that but with some antique white roses thrown in.

I love that purple bouquet!! I have to show that to my MOH, she’s doing eggplant at her wedding next year, that would be so pretty! (And in season for her!)

Totally agree with you on the ranunculus one. My other fave flower — and both will be in my bouquet — are dahlias, so love that picture, too! :-)

Purple one is definitely my fave. Don’t you just hate that flowers of every kind aren’t in season every season? Some plant scientist out there needs to come up with a way to make peonies available year round EVERYWHERE. Period.

And the green BM bouquets are so cool. I’ve never seen anything like that before! I would so do that if they fit our color scheme.

I really like the purple one. Have you considered “fake” flowers? They have many varieties that still look fabulous and real, plus it’d make a good keepsake (one you don’t have to pay money to preserve.

As an aside, did you notice the bride in the six pictures was not holding her bouquets right? You’re suppossed to hold them at your hip bones. Otherwise you cover up that beautiful dress you just spent thousands of dollars on.

I posted about these bouquets on my blog the other week- they’re so lush and beautiful! I’d love the peachy one in the bottom row.
