Gifting the Girlies

May 5th, 2009 @ 6:44 pm by Mrs. Powder Puff

I have some fabulous bridesmaids. This wedding has been a loooong process, and they’ve supported me and encouraged me through it all. So naturally, I’d like to get them presents that reflect their general fabulosity, while sticking to a budget, of course.

I’ve always known I wanted to get my girls cute little clutches. That was easy. Finding them for a reasonable price… not so much.

Until I saw the fantastic Etsy seller, Baffin Bags. She has an adorable collection of clutches, key fobs, and mini wallets that are totally swoon-worthy, and completely reasonable! Check out some of her designs:

I love the different-patterned liner fabric!

I’m still on the lookout for a couple more little trinkets, but the moral of this story is that I got four of these beauties for $32, and I couldn’t be happier! Here’s hoping that my girls will be just as thrilled.

Did you find any awesome deals when shopping for bridal party gifts?

Those are really cute! What a good price! I think I might be getting something similar for my ‘maids. Can’t wait to see what else you get for them.

Ooh, great minds thing alike. I’m planning to get “my” ladies purses from etsy as well. It’s not for a year, though, so I haven’t decided which yet.

Best Wishes!

These are wonderful. I used this seller last year when I was the MOH for my friend’s wedding (used them for a bachlorette party gift and put little french manicure sets in them). :)

Cute! I’ve been aspiring to make little hand bags for my BMs, but, armed with the knowledge that I totally suck at sewing, I’ll keep that seller in mind! I found a seller on eBay that frequently has pashminas starting at $0.01. Unfortunately, they are located in England, so with shipping, I got nine of them for about $60.00. Still a steal, in my book! (Oh, and for the record, I only have seven BMs, but I got a little trigger happy and bid on too many, expecting that I wouldn’t win several of them. So now, both mothers will be receiving one, as well.)

Huzzah! Now I have a place to buy clutches for my girls :) I checked out another seller last week but her prices were about $30 each (hello, we have no money people!) so baffinbags is such a great alternative - and just as cute :)

I may or may not have just gone and bought 5 of those clutches after reading your post….BaffinBags should give you a coupon for your advertising skills!

Cute! I checked out the site.
Just so ya’ll know, they are really clutch WALLETS, I wouldn’t consider them to be full sized clutches or anything. But very adorable, I might have to get one :)

Oh so cute! I invested in quality (aka expensive) necklaces for the girls before I discovered the wonders of Etsy. These might be great to gift them in. Much cuter than a gift bag :-)

Those are so cute that I had to buy one for each bridesmaid! I was considering making clutches but the design didn’t seem to be working out. And for $8 - better just to buy! Thanks for the tip!

I plan to put in them: tissue pack, lip gloss, small mirror, mints. If they don’t carry them at the wedding I don’t care, but those things will come in handy anytime!
