I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight… I wish that these shoes would go on sale.
I love shoes. I can’t go near a shoe department if I don’t plan on buying shoes. I think I have mentioned my addiction before. I’ve been so good for months and months. I haven’t bought a pair of shoes since early fall.
Well, I did it now. I tried on some shoes because they were beautiful. And of course, they fit just right.
However, they are also designed by the fabulous Kate Spade, and are therefore out of this Duckling’s price range. So basically, I’m wishing, praying, crossing my fingers, rubbing Buddha’s belly, and doing a shoe dance that these lovelies go on sale. Well, maybe that is a bit dramatic. I just really want them to go on sale.
That way, I can get some fabulous shoe shots…

Are you doing the sale dance for any dream items?
I was doing the sale dance for this ivory clutch I wanted from J Crew. Now it has disappeared from the site 
I’m a little sad about it.
If I ever FIND my shoes, I’m sure I’ll do a special dance to make them go on sale!

And I did the same dance and made my shoes disappear, so don’t dance too much Miss D!!
Love those shoes! Maybe you can find a way to fund them without them going on sale. Like if you have old dresses or furniture that you could sell on Craigslist and put the proceeds toward the shoes. Or you could start a coin jar. Put all your loose change into a jar and cash it in every couple of months. My FI and I do this, and we’ll often get $60 to $100 for just one jar’s worth!
My sister did the sale dance for a dress she found at Anthropologie. Its not a site that has a lot of weekly sales (like NY&CO, J.Crew or BananaRep) but she stalked the website DAILY and refreshed multiple times a day. 2 days before her birthday it went on sale for more than half off.

Those shoes are to die for! I totally understand! Plus I’m a sucker for bows on shoes!

The shoes I want are on sale….I keep debating whether or not to purchase them now, seeing as how our wedding is about 17 months away!
Cute shoe inspiration shots! Are you a size that’s typically still in stock by the time shoes go on sale? (Usually at the smallest or largest end of the spectrum…)

Here is a good website that searches all over the web for the cheapest price available for whatever product you enter. It may help with finding a low price for those shoes if they go on sale anywhere!
OMG!! does anyone know how to find those blue shoes in the last pic? They are my ultimate dream awesomesauce shoes!!
Those pink shoes with the box are on sale at the Kate Spade outlets. There is one not too far from where I live- I tried the gold ones and the green ones on over the weekend! They are incredible! You should find the outlet nearest you and head there soon! I think they were $125- I know they were under $150.
I often get too impatient to wait for a sale for fear that the item will disappear and I’ll never see it again. I sure hope you do find your shoes on sale, though! Have you tried ebay?
