Today’s wiki is the Registry Checklist. Most major retailers give you a registry checklist upon starting a registry, but often times there are hundreds of items on these lists, and most lists seem overly-extensive. When you built your registry, what were the most important pieces that you added? Married brides: what items did you register for that you found to be the most practical to you in your home today? Were you surprised by any gifts you received that seemed impractical, but turned out to be extremely useful in your home?

There are even lots of couples that don’t have use for typical housewares, but would still like to register for gifts at alternative stores. What are some atypical registry items, and where can couples register for them?
