When I visited my mom on Sunday, she gave me a gift that one of her friends had left for me. It was some lingerie. And it came just in time. (BTW, I didn’t know Victoria’s Secret sells Betsy Johnson.)
I had on my mental checklist to purchase a little something for our wedding night, but it was waaaay low on the priority list.
So, now I don’t have to! It’s white, bridal-y, simple, and fits! I love when unexpected things work out just right!
What does your wedding night lingerie look like?
That is lovely!!! And I totes haven’t picked mine yet. We’ll see if someone gets me something cute as a shower gift.

Right now my night attire is nothing…I havent even looked for anything yet. But this picture has given me the urge to start looking!

Very very cute lingerie! I need to get a cute outfit as well, I didn’t get any bridally lingerie so I have to use my gift cards and find something!

that is really cute! i got quite a bit of lingerie @ my bridal shower but nothing bridal-y so i may go look for something for that night or just wear one of the many other things i received as gifts.
In some places, it is tradition for the mother of the bride to give her daughter her wedding night attire (accompanied with, in the olden days, a sex talk). I have seen some very classy peignoir sets my married friends have received from their mothers (and, in one case, a MIL!).
Nice gift. Isn’t it great when something unexpected works out?
That is adorable! I have no idea what I’m wearing on the wedding night. Not to sound crass, but I think my fiance just might be excited to see me get out of my dress.
I bought a ton of stuff from FOH. Victoria’s Secret just doesn’t seem to sell anything that fits a girl my size, but FOH had lots, and in cute colors (on sale!). I got a white satin kimono that I figure can be my “bridal” look, but it’ll be a new surprise every night with what’s underneath!
My just right - my MOH gave me her slip and veil from her wedding. I was in love with both of them 3 years ago, and now am so proud to get to wear them for mine. Wonderful the slip was a little small on her, but perfect for me!

i managed to buy a bunch of stuff from Victoria’s Secret when they were having a sale 
now, i just have to duck in somewhere and get out of the unsexy Spanx first….
is it just me, or would having your mom buy you lingerie be awkward?

Although I dearly love Zappos, I have several VS gift cards I need to use to fund the fanciness!
