Jumping the Gun

May 11th, 2009 @ 11:24 am by Mrs. Mascara

I still haven’t finished the design of our invitations, but since I am easily distracted, I couldn’t help but move on to finding ideas for our rehearsal dinner invites. Imagine my excitement when I came across this lovely invitation from paper loving bride! I love the kraft paper, the simplicity of the design, and the address block on the envelope. It even has the flourish pattern that we’ve been carrying as a theme within all of our paper goods! Perfect!

To be honest, I’m now more excited about making our rehearsal dinner invites than I am about our actual invitations! Thanks Lisa, for letting me share these!

Are you planning on sending out rehearsal dinner invitations?

Wow, those are so unique, and they definitely make the RD seem much more special! :-) Yes, we’ll be doing invites, though I’m sure they won’t be nearly as amazing as these!

We are doing invites as well but since my Future in Laws are hosting the event they wanted to do the invites so I have no idea how they’ll turn out!

We’re sending out rehearsal invites, but ours are very simple cards backed with navy carstock. Just adding a little bling and a little sparkle with my embosser

I hadn’t thought about it, but why not? I heart invites and have been wanting to use kraft paper for something for the whole wedding and haven’t found it yet- it seems like the perfect opportunity!!

I’m sure we’ll also send out RD invites. I think my FMIL will be figuring out the details of them, however. Your invitations look fabulous!!

I want to send out rehearsal dinner invites but I think I will get out voted and they will end up in our wedding invites.

Those are great. I agree that the simple design is really attractive. I sent handwritten postcards to my guests about the rehearsal dinner.

We sent them out, but Mr. BF’s mom insisted that she do them, so she used a kit I found at Target for her. :)
