When I got home Friday night, I opened my email and saw this note:

Hello Catherine,

I hope you are well! I just wanted to let you know that your custom pearl gray cotton sateen ruffle dress was shipped USPS Priority Mail today, 5/8. To track your package, you can go to www.usps.com and enter your tracking # 0307 xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx.

Your dress turned out so lovely! I really hope you enjoy wearing it on your wedding day!

Thanks again for supporting my designs! It was such a pleasure meeting you.

OMG! It’s on its way!!! The dress is on its way.

I know it won’t get here until this week, but I keep logging into the USPS site to check. Is it crazy that I kind of want to work from home this week so I can be here to welcome it when it arrives?

Exciting! I haven’t really had anything stalk-worthy yet…but I’m sure I’ll be following the journey of my invites when the designer sends them to me!

haha I TOTALLY did the same thing with my invites. And the envelope liners. And the flower girl dresses, Bridesmaid dresses, gifts (like Miss PT said above) and everything else I knew was getting mailed. I can imagine that my excitement was a FRACTION of yours waiting for the dress though!

My invitations! USPS said they’d been delivered and they weren’t by our mailbox…we totally freaked that they’d been left somewhere else, never to be seen again! My designer felt awful and was pulling out all of the insurance information so we could file a claim if needed…and, of course, they arrived the next day

I just got an email from Fed Ex 5 minutes ago, saying my FI wedding band had shipped and will be arriving tomorrow! I’ve been stalking and waiting for a week! Can’t wait to see it & if it fits! Fingers crossed!

Though I am sure there will be more, I ordered a stamp of a wave I designed on Etsy (for the invitation embossing), and I tracked the hell out of that thing. It came, and it is gorgeous.
