We’re going to Glacier National Park for our honeymoon, and our wedding table numbers/guest book center around National Parks, so honestly this give-away was made for fiance and I!
OOh if I were to honeymoon in the US I would pick California, I’d like to see all of it so I think I would start in southern and take a train ride up the coast. I have never been to CA and have always loved to go. There are so many places in the US I have yet to see and would love to.
We’re having our wedding at the Ahwahnee in Yosemite next weekend! We’re honeymooning by spending some extra time in Yosemite (yay!) and then road-tripping to spend a few nights in wine country. If we had more time, I would love to do a tour of some of the great National Parks that I haven’t gotten to see. Glacier and Grand Teton are HIGH on my list. I’m a huge fan of the National Parks system - such a gorgeous country we have!
FH and I haven’t decided on a honeymoon spot yet, but if we were to Honeymoon in the US it would be in the Florida Keys
It has the Caribbean feel (and blue waters) without the extra travel
Plus I’d love to see Manatees in the wild down there which I’ve always thought are amazing animals.
I would have to say if I was to do a honeymoon in the United States it would be at Big Sur and then a drive along the 101 to Napa Valley to go to the beautiful wineries. A picnic in the wineries and maybe even a helicopter ride.
I LOVE THIS ONE!!! My fiance proposed to me at Yosemite NP. We’ve been looking at at honeymoon in Montana, because it has mountains, and lakes, and hotsprings. We both LOVE to rock climb, and camping, and mountain biking. Besides that our other options is in Colorado because it will be beautify there too. Or else Maine. He’s from California, so I’m not as open to a ocean setting as I am a mountainous, lakes, clear starry skies.
we’re planning our HM for Florida! Our whole wedding is around a ‘fairytale’ type theme so Disney seems absolutely PERFECT! ![]()
I would love to win these books because I’m getting married in Yosemite, at the Ahwahnee! I really need a Yosemite book anyway to give my guests advice on my Save the Dates and Invitations!!
This is the greatest prize (We are planning a yellowstone trip for July). If we were to honeymoon in the US we would probably choose Seattle since neither of us have been there and there is so much to do and enjoy there.
I think we’d do a tour of the Pacific NW and hit some National Parks as well as major cities to get the best of both worlds.
Probably the coast of Maine. We’ve never been there and it’s supposed to be beautiful!
We’re really hoping to go to Big Sur, California. Not only have we pinpointed a low-key resort where we’d love to stay, but the natural beauty of the surrounding area offers much for us to explore and discover together!! This giveaway would definitely enhance our honeymoon experience! ![]()
We are dead set on using our passports for our honeymoon, but our second trip as a married couple will probably be out west! Yosemite is one of my favorite places on the planet, and I am dying to take my future hubs there!
I would go to Sunriver in Oregon. It’s beautiful, and so peaceful. I love it there. I would also love to do a tour of the national parks, so those books would be awesome to get!

Sign me up! I love National Parks and I’ve never been to Yosemite. I’m dying to go, and to return to Yellowstone!
We’re planning a honeymoon in Yosemite. My fiance proposed on a trail by Old Faithful with two bison looking on, our table names are sites in Yellowstone, and our favors are bison shaped cookies. It’s like this giveaway was made for us - we’re total National Park people!
Sign me up! If we were to honeymoon in the US we would probably choose Glacier or Yellowstone. We have never been there and have heard so much about them.
We are honeymooning in California and will be visiting yosemite while there. This is a great give away!
We are contemplating a road trip around the US for our honeymoon, so this may be a great start to figuring out where we’re going to go!!
This would be so cool, fiance and I are actually wanting to honeymoon at yellowstone!
Do the US Virgin Islands count? That’s where we want to go! These guides would be great for us though because we really would like to take the kiddos (4 total!) to Yellowstone or Yosemite in the near future.
We are going to Sonoma County, California for some wine and relaxation!
As soon as I saw this I said to myself, this is perfect for doctorgirl because it was made for her! I hope she wins & if I somehow get picked I’m going to make sure my prize goes to her!
Probably a tour of the pacific NW; driving up the Oregon coast to see the beautiful sights.
If we decide on the US it’d definitely be Yellowstone - one of my FI’s favorite places - and we do tons of packpacking. Second runner up would be Canyonlands NP or, if our wedding was in the summertime, the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.
I think we might hit up Arches in Utah or Yellowstone. We just spent a few days in the Grand Canyon and can wait to explore all the other beautiful parks.
As much as the FI and I would love to go to Yellowstone or Yosemite, I’d rather visit those places when I’m not looking to relax 24-7. We’re both Southerners so the idea of relaxing in a little cottage on the coast of Maine sounds downright exotic!
I’ve already picked — we are heading out to Jackson Hole, WY on the 26th to explore Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. I can’t think of a more perfect guide for us! We are excited to be able to explore on our own and see all the wildlife.
@Lillindy- You just made me cry! Seriously… I don’t usually cry, and you’ve just done it. Aren’t you just the sweetest person ever
Huge grin on my face right now!
and
@CherryPie- I can give you all of my favorite gory details about Yosemite. You will love it! (BTW I need to hit you up about your friend’s beautiful handmade cord and Glacier!)
We’d pick the West Coast. It would include a trip to beaches in Southern CA, a visit to San Francisco (one of my favorite cities), then on to the Pacific Northwest, where I’ve always wanted to go.
Our tables our being named after national parks we’ve visited together. We’ve vistited 14 in the last 3 years!
I forgot to say where we would honeymoon in the USA. I think Big Bend and Texas are next on the list.
We’re actually doing a destination/vacation wedding in the Tetons and taking a mini-moon in Yellowstone! That book would be PERFECT for us!!
we actually got engaged in grand teton np - so gorgeous! we would absolutely love to do the high sierra camps in yosemite as a honeymoon.
Yellowstone is awesome, but wow the crowds! Grand Teton and Glacier are both stunning national parks, we are going back to both late this summer!
I am dying to go to Yosemite but actually want to go in the winter, I have heard many great reviews about that time of year.
if I were to honemoon in the states I would have to say fly into San Diego and take a train along the coast to Seattle, with many stops along the way!
These look awesome! We are honeymooning in the US! Jackson Hole, WY at the base of the Tetons! We are also renting a car and making the one hour trip to Yellowstone. These would be helpful and the artwork on the front is gorgeous!
I love exploring California. I lived in SoCal for 10 years and recently moved to NorCal. A great honeymoon location would be in Mendocino, I hear it’s super romantic. I’ve been wanting to hike Half Dome in Yosemite forever too!
I would find a secluded ranch with an awesome spa in Montana, if such a thing exist! My fiance and I actually did a cross-country drive a few years ago, and got to see and experience so many beautiful areas of America that I had never even know existed. But I still haven’t made it to Montana yet, so I would definitely choose Montana.
We’ve been to Yosemite, although we didn’t go together when we went. So we’re considering on going somewhere up in the northwest for our honeymoon. Washington state, Idaho, somewhere up there.
Yellowstone is definitely the place we would pick. We are actually going next year, not for our honeymoon, but we would still love to get these handy books!
I’ll be a little cliche and say Disneyworld….BUT the fiance and I are planning a group trip to both Yosemite and Yellowstone in the upcoming year. ![]()
I would choose Yellowstone, I’ve never been and I think it would be awesome to experience it with my fiance and a handy dandy Fodors giude book ![]()
I would love to give this book to friends of ours who are vacation in yosemite this summer.
If we could honeymoon somewhere in the US, my fi and I would both pick the Pacific Northwest! (that or Disneyland) ![]()
We’d probably head to the Grand Canyon - I’ve never been, but he has and would love to go again!
Our fantasy honeymoon is to Yellowstone! (But by the time we started thinking about it, lodging was going to be very difficult, so we’re heading elsewhere for this trip. Hopefully, we’ll plan better for next summer’s adventure!)
YOSEMITE hands down! I’ve been there before but have always wanted to go with the Mr.!!!
I would love to honeymoon in Napa Valley.
This book would be great for upcoming family vacations. FI used to go camping a lot as a kid and I… did not. So this would be a great way to see a part of the US I haven’t really experienced.
Kauai, HI is my number 1 pick. But Yellowstone National Park is high on our list of places to vacation to soon. And this summer we will be backpacking in Yosemite. Yosemite has a special place in my heart, my parents took my backpacking there when I was 8 months old!
If I was honeymooning in CONUS I would go to South Dakota. I remember going as a kid, but I want to see it with fresh eyes! Mt. Rushmore here we come!!
We ARE doing a minimoon in the US! We are getting married in beautiful Lake Tahoe and spending the week after in Northern California in the Lassen Volcano area! The mister’s family has a cabin in Mill Creek and will be great for fishing, cooking, relaxing, hiking, etc, etc! I can’t wait!!! If you’ve never been, it’s fantastic up there! If we weren’t going there I’d be heading to Yosemite!
FH really wants to hit the Grand Canyon! We’re both East Coast, so I’ve got a hankering to see some West Coast sights. ![]()
This is great! We are going to Yellowstone/Grand Tetons for our honeymoon in September!
We are actually moving from the east coast to the west coast and wont have money for a honeymoon so we were hoping to head to Yosemite for a week or so to enjoy the great outdoors!
Ooh, we ARE honeymooning right outside Grand Teton National Park! In June, so I hope it doesn’t snow! But I think we got a room with a fireplace, so it’s OK if it does.
The Oregon Coast - Coos Bay and Depoe Bay are great little towns to spend a few days in!
I so want to win this contest! We’re planning on driving the Pacific Coast Highway (haven’t decided on northbound or southbound yet) and making at least one trip inland to the national parks!! I’m an obsessive pre-trip planner, so I pretty much worship Fodor’s.
I would love to see Yellowston, Grand Teton, or Glacier National Parks. I also want to take my FI to the Black Hills in South Dakota where my grandparents live - it’s breathtaking. We’ll likely end up with a minimoon to South Padre Island since we’re in Texas, but who knows.

yosemite seems awesome. But I would love to go to Glacier National Park! Absolutely amazing. Plus, Its our engagement spot!
The Pacific Northwest for sure! Great cities (Seattle & Portland) and unbelievable National Parks!
how very interesting that this contest came up. we are actually going to yosemite as part of our honeymoon for a couple days before we take off to miami for a cruise!
Awesome! We’re going to Yosemite for our honeymoon so I think it’s obvious which one of these guides we’d need/want. ![]()
We’re actually going to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons next year for a one-year anniversary camping trip!
I would love to go to Jackson Hole! We would definitely use these books though because over time we are trying to get to as many national parks as possible.
Ooh ooh ooh! If we go in the US (we are waiting because we don’t know what the job sitch will be) we will definitely do San Francisco and rent a car to Yosemite. It is looking like we’ll be able to do our first choice of the Mediterranean though.
We actually want to go to Yellowstone, so this would be perfect!!
My first pick would be San Fransisco–I hear it is beautiful, & I’ve never been. But this book wouldn’t be a total loss–we travel A LOT!
We are going to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and can’t wait!!! We are bringing the motorcycle and gonna drive through the beautiful countryside.
