As you may or may not know, I worked for Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL for four years right after I graduated from college, in the entertainment department.
A friend of mine, David, was a performer at the Beauty and the Beast show and had met a beautiful girl named Heidi, who was a dancer at the show, and had been dating her for quite some time when he decided to propose.
David worked for weeks to pull off an amazing proposal to Heidi. He was not a trained dancer, but he was able to arrange with the stage manager of the show to learn the Equity level choreography for the grand finale and surprised Heidi as she was dancing on stage. In the finale number, her dance partner danced off the stage and was replaced by David, much to Heidi’s complete surprise.
It has been ten years since they were married, and for their anniversary, David has posted, for the first time for all to see, the video taken that day.
I was there in the audience, having sprinted across the park to see it in time, and I can assure you, it was the most magical proposal I have ever seen or heard of since.

How cute! I must say, I am a fan of my own proposal story. I got proposed to on top of a ski run at Keystone during sunset. Couldn’t have been better!

That was magical! haha I love Disney and that proposal was so sweet! It just made my day.
The best proposal I have seen/heard (other than my own), was my sister’s. Her fiance proposed at Fenway park, which was where they had their first date (my grandparents did too), he got the park to themselves and completely surprised her. Then he said they were going to celevrate with drinks at a bar called Bella Luna in JP, where me and the rest of our family were waiting for a little celebration!

That is just so amazing of a story! I bet when they have/had kids their kids were just so bubbling with the story of how Beauty and the Beast dance brought their parents together.

Okay…now I’m crying. That was so sweet!! I totally loved it. My fiance and I got engaged at Disney as well, in front of Cinderella’s castle because he knew it is my favorite place in the whole world. He planned everything down to the last detail, and in 26 days I will marry my Prince Charming. Thanks for sharing this
As someone who also had her own Disney proposal, this is great! B&B is my favorite Disney movie of all time - what a great opportunity!
I have to say, I appreciate all of the effort my fiance went through. He planned our dinner reservations to happen during the Wishes! fireworks at the Magic Kingdom… everyone but me knew what was going to happen, but I was totally clueless! His proposal was private, but then we got to go back in for a wonderful celebration dinner with his parents!

I was definitely blinking back tears! I showed it to Mr. Bruschetta, and he commented that I looked like I was going to melt watching the video.
That’s one of my favorite movies and watching them dancing even before the proposal gave me goosebumps. How wonderful!!!!
I’m such a girl, I’m totally wiping tears as I type this. Thanks for sharing this, I have a big doofy grin on my face from int, lol. That was one of the sweetest and most unique proposals I’ve ever seen. She’s one lucky lady!
