If you guessed our cake topper by Etsy seller SueBeeHB, you’re right! I received an email from Sue on Tuesday letting me know she had mailed the birds, and THE NEXT DAY, they arrived at my home! Granted, I only live about 25 miles from Sue, but I was still excited. They came in a cute box that reminded me of a Twitter question Sara with Stinkerpants Designs asked a few weeks ago regarding the packing she mailed her cards with, and I stand corrected. It is more exciting when something comes in a fun package.
I would still have been really excited to receive them in just the Priority Mail box, but the special packaging made them seem more homemade and from the heart.
Inside, the birds were nestled safely…

My favorite purchase was my cake topper, too! I had a polymer clay artist (also found on Etsy!) make replicas of us! It is by far my favorite!!

Awe, they’re adorable! I want to find something that fits with our cycling obsession, but isn’t too cheesy. I know I know, I’m probably on a wild goose chase here, but I thought it was worth putting some feelers out there?

@pvaulter718: What about a couple on a tandem bike? or little figures of each of you on your own bikes I think it’d be cute, but then again, I built my own bike and am in to that sort of thing….

@Miss Stiletto: I had to talk Mr Frenchie and my mom into the idea, they both thought it was a little odd until the birds came in… then they were all OMG they are so cute! I’m so glad you talked into this blah blah blah 
@pvaulter718: I was thinking the same thing as D’orsay w/ the tandem bike. Look around Etsy or use Alchemy I’m sure you could find one of the many VERY talented artists to custom something for you

@pvaulter718: yeah, check out etsy and search bicycle or even on ebay. Alchemy on etsy would probably yield someone who can make something amazing!
