My roomie walked through the door with two shimmery envelopes in her hand. Yay, they’re here! I have been itching to see these bad boys ever since my mom called me the other day telling me how gorgeous the bridal shower/bachelorette party invitations were. All courtesy of my bridesmaid, Hojo. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… and again… and again, and again… girl got skills!

Here’s the envelope. My jaw dropped when I saw that she Zazzled the stamps. She used one of the pictures from our e-Photo session with Inhar. What a nice personal touch this adds! It makes me want to do them for our invitations. I know for me, this sort of personalized touch would warrant a place in my collection of invites I’ve held onto as keepsakes from friends’ weddings.

Here’s the bridal shower invitation. My beautiful bridesmaids are hosting a ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’-themed shower in honor of my middle name (in the event my maiden name becomes my middle name). How cute is that?

And finally the bachelorette party invitation. Unlike our wedding invitations (coming soon), she actually stuck to our color palette… Tiffany blue and yellow. I love me some yellow!

I’m heading back to the East Coast for this celebration. We’re doing it all the same day, and I cannot wait! After thanking Hojo for taking so much time to make these, she responded with…

“What else do we have to do? Name cards? Programs?”

Now that’s love. I also thanked her for putting me in invitation hell. I want ours to be just as pretty, and she has definitely risen the bar sky-high. Smoochies!
