Today is the day! I can’t believe it’s finally my turn to marry my best friend and the one true love of my life.

At the rehearsal yesterday, I felt so blessed to be surrounded by people who love Mr. Deviled Egg and me. Knowing that they came from near and far (one of my bridesmaids came in all the way from Germany!) gave me an overwhelming feeling of love and support. I can only imagine the emotions I am about to experience today.

So far, I’m surprised at how calm I’ve been. Despite all of the last minute to-dos, I really don’t feel stressed at all. A few people commented on how I didn’t seem nervous at all. I guess, overall, I’m not. I couldn’t be more sure of my decision to marry Mr. DE. I do believe he is the one for me and we have what it takes to make a happily ever after fairytale part of our reality. I’m so excited!

Today is a day of many changes for me. I get a new name, a new family, and a new life to share completely with a husband. Mr. DE will have some changes, too. He will be more than just a husband to me; he will become a son to my parents, a brother to my siblings, and an uncle to my nieces and nephews.

I just feel like today is, and always was supposed to happen for me and Mr. DE. I don’t know if anything could change my outlook on how perfect this day is and will be. This is our day to smile. It’s our day to laugh. It’s our day to cry tears of joy and our day to spend making memories that will last a lifetime.

Today is the day and I’m off to go enjoy it, experience it and, simply, live it—sharing every moment with the one person I hope to share so many more wonderful days with in the future. This is it!
