About Mrs. Beagle

Welcome

May 28th, 2009 @ 5:18 pm by Mrs. Beagle

I just came across these welcoming ideas on Style Me Pretty, courtesy of Etsy (have I mentioned how much I love Etsy? :) ) seller The Wedding Chicks:

Welcome : wedding decor reception Il Full045

Welcome : wedding decor reception Il Full046

*swoon* How cute are those little birds?! I hadn’t thought about a welcome sign before I saw this post, but now I am seriously considering one. The signs are $36 + shipping costs, or $40 for a custom sign. This small decor item will make a big impact at our reception site, and it is definitely getting added to my wish list.

How are you welcoming your guests to your wedding?

Very sweet touch. I just went to a wedding this past weekend that could DEFINITELY have used that at the front of the house, not only as a nice touch of decor - but also to show people they found the right place!!!

It’s a great idea!

But is it me, or do the signs look photoshopped in? lol

Those signs look horribly photoshopped into place. Not real at ALL!

I heard that their tanks are cute, but VERY thin, so be aware if you’re not a layer-er.

Those are super pretty! I am debating on what to do for signage, the scrapbooker in me wants to create something kind of crafty looking with my wedding leftover supplies!

this is unrelated, I’m sorry, but does anyone know where to get those lights? I’ve seen them everywhere and I love them…do you have to rent them or can you buy them?

i am so confused…are those signs freakishly huge or is this some kind of…dollhouse wedding??

though, the signs are lovely.

i got a $3 frame at Ikea on clearance. we borrowed an easel, are gonna add a black piece of paper in the frame and write like, “Today’s Special: XXX and XYZ’s Wedding” to be placed outside the french bistro where we’re holding our wedding.

sorta cute, like the daily menu found outside Parisienne cafes.

hi girls!! (:
we are glad you like our signs! yes, we photoshopped the signs in so we could show them in action. we know they look a little silly, but some people wouldn’t even know where to put them. (: we hope you still love us.
