I stumbled across this fun idea via Lovely Package. It’s a wedding invitation in a can! How genius! You tie the can to the back of the getaway car— it’s totally brilliant! It makes me want to start stockpiling Campbell’s Soup. What’s that? I’m already married? Small detail.

Love the cans. We’re renting a Porsche convertible instead of limo, so no decor allowed. We are going to use Anna Griffin magnet clings that read “newlyweds,” & of course “just married.” They also have these great vintage-y flowers.

haha we’ve started collecting the ‘hearty’ campbell soup cans to make a ‘tin can telephone’ for our photoshoot — a nod to our long-distance relationship

We didn’t have a getaway car, but if we did, I love the nostalgia of attaching cans to the car. So cute!

lol thats so cute!! unfortunately we are not dressing up our getaway car because we are not having one. Are reception site is also a hotel so all we have to do is take the elevator to the top floor.

I’m think of decorating FH’s car for our getaway so no-one else does hahaha that way it will look nice and he doesn’t end up w/ paint on his windows the day before we’re supposed to leave it at the airport. I’m thinking I’ll make a pretty sign
