Mrs. Mary Jane's Picture
Mrs. Mary Jane, Grand Forks, ND Age and Occupation: 26, Instructional Designer Fiance's Age and Occupation: 26, Lead Programmer Engagement Date: February 28, 2009 Wedding Date: September 2009 Venue: City Hall About Me: I'm a career woman on the surface and a homemaker at heart. I love fast cars and high heels, and my favorite food is cake. Mr. Mary Jane and I are both full-time employees and students, and we just bought our first house. We love to curl up on the couch with buttery popcorn, Sour Patch Kids, and the latest Netflix arrival -- whenever we can get a break from everyday life.
About Mrs. Mary Jane

Check them out: My DKNYC Foxy Pumps!

I confess: These have been unopened on my kitchen counter since last Thursday. I don’t know how I let that happen, but I guess the stresses of work, summer school and the new house just haven’t given me a moment’s time to try them on.

But I love them! I think they’ll be great. Pretty comfy, too!

Shoes: Check. (Hurray! I actually made some wedding progress in May, after all!)

What was harder: finding the perfect dress, or finding the perfect shoes?

For me they were both easy. I love shoes. And my dress was a matter of the running of the brides. It was the first thing I tried on.

I love your tattoo too.

As luck would have it, neither the dress or the shoes were difficult to come by. I am having the dress made (hopefully all goes well), and I found THE shoes by accident when I wasn’t even shopping for shoes…

The wedding gods have smiled upon me.

Those shoes are awesome! (and my favorite color might I add :) ) Definitely the shoes are harder. 60 days out and still no luck. I swear I’ll go barefoot if I have to- good thing its an outdoor wedding!

P.S. Yay for another tattooed bride- super cute.

Shoes were such an issue for me! My hubby is only a few inches tallerthan I am, so finding the perfect height, pretty, bridal-sy shoe was such a task!!

Shoes was much more difficult! I found my dress relatively easily, but I found a pair of shoes, loved them, and they were totally out of budget. I tihnk I spent months finding shoes and one weekend finding a dress!

But- your shoes rock! And you can wear them again!

The dress! Saw it on CL, but could NOT find it in my size. (It was from 2005, but I HEART it!) I love your shoes–much better “in person.” Cute tat!

Shoes were definitely the hardest… and since I ended up getting mine for $30, and my budget was $200, I just splurged for some $140 Rehearsal Dinner shoes (they get here tomorrow…yay, Endless!).

Those are cute Miss Mary Jane! I have to say the shoes are harder for me since my wedding dress is short and the shoes I loved are nowhere to be found!
